Tõrva Central Square

At Tõrva Central Square, the priority is given to pedestrian comfort and leisure facilities. Spread over almost 13,000 square meters, Tõrva Central Square has most of the space on the footpaths and activity grounds.Landscaping was carried out on 5,000 square metres and almost 2,000 trees and shrubs were planted. The central square of Tõrva runs from the historic tavern building to the Tõrva Town Hall building and from there on to Lake Veskijärv.Architects Mari Rass, Ott Alver, Alvin Järving, and Illimar Klammer.

Pedaja Holiday House

The exhibition at the Räpina Local History and Gardening Museum provides an overview of the manor and parish of Räpina, the history of the town, its tradition of gardening education and one of the oldest paper factories in Europe. Kalda Farm is located by the Väike Emajõgi River, 20 km away from Valga.If you wish to spend an affordable summer holiday, our camping houses by the river are perfect for you. Hikers with tents or caravan cars can also find everything they need with us. You have an ourdoor kitchen with a fridge, a cooker, tables and benches, barbecue equipment, and campfire sites at your disposal.We have all the necessary equipment for organising camps for larger youth groups. Extra low prices are offered by our hostel all year around. You can go on canoe trips, organise bonfire and sauna nights, and go to the pubs to sing and drink.

Shooting range at Tartu County Recreation Sports Centre

Target practice with virtual and air guns takes place in the halls of the main building throughout the year.During the summer season, we use a 25 m shooting range with 24 lanes for pistols and service weapons; 50 m shooting ranges with 42 and 12 lanes are available for rifle practice. In the smaller range, we use the electronic Sius Ascor targets of the Estonian Shooting Sport Federation for practising for finals of important competitions, as well as for training our top shooters. In the 50 m Moving Target range, you can use a rifle to shoot at a moving target shaped like a wild boar or an elk. Enthusiasts can also try archery and clay target shooting.

Pikasilla recreation area

Pikasilla recreation area, located in Põdrala rural municipality by the southern tip of Lake Võrtsjärv, is easily accessible and has a strategically good location by a waterway (at the mouth of the River Emajõgi). The place has become well-known as a venue of sports competitions and various public events. The area has different sports facilities, a children's playground, cabins and a campfire site; it also has washing and cooking facilities.The services of the recreation area include:- renting the recreation area- renting canoes, kayaks and boats- boat harbour and mooring spots- renting a stadium building and a building with washing and cooking facilities- caravan parking- camping ground for about 100 people- cabins for rent

Aleksandri Hotel

Agirregoikoa Kennel visit and sled dog ride

Come and experience an adventure at the Agirregoikoa Kennel with Nordic sled dogs! A kennel visit lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, during which you can enjoy a 1.5 km long sled ride. After the ride, you can walk with the dogs and pet and cuddle them. Choose your favorite dog, take selfies, capture a memorable moment with a large group photo, and enjoy hot tea or coffee. We warm up and share stories about the dog breed and history. Sled dogs are therapy for children. We do sled rides with snow and cart rides without snow. Only kennel visits are offered during the summer period.
