The interactive exhibition at Alatskivi Castle's horse stable provides a good overview of manor life. The central part of the exhibition is a drawing of the Alatskivi Manor estate grounds, which explains the management and living environment of the entire complex. You will learn what role purebred dog breeding played in the manor, how forestry was managed, how much income Alatskivi Manor earned, and where the money came from to build the fairytale castle. The play corner with a beautiful replica of the castle and dolls will delight the youngest visitors. The horse stable is perfect for organizing concerts and events! The unique Gardest Home and Garden Centre, which is the largest garden centre in the Baltics, offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor plants, seasonal plants, tools, interior products, pet products, and gourmet goods. During the summer season, we also offer outdoor furniture and barbecues. During the winter period, the centre turns into a beautiful winter wonderland.Here, you will also find the Muru restaurant, which offers a healthy menu and daily specials. On the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, you will find the Kiviranna recreation centre and its two holiday homes – TORM (STORM) and TUUL (WIND). Each house can accommodate up to six people. There is a bedroom with four single beds (extra beds can also be provided) on the first floor of both houses. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two. The houses have a kitchenette and the necessary kitchenware. The living room has a TV and a stereo system, and a small library for younger and older guests alike. We recommend asking for an IGLOO SAUNA.
