There is a unique children’s museum on the first floor of the Varbuse post station of the Road Museum. Children have the whole floor to themselves for having fun. Here, you will find exciting reading, educational games and activities, a puppet theatre, and the Chamber of Secrets which introduces fairy tales.There is an animal called Ajaloom (Time Animal) living in the children’s museum who is excited to meet his new friends to explore together what time is. The children’s floor is perfect for organising birthdays: it can accommodate up to 20 guests.

We are an undoubtedly fun pub in the centre of Elva. The name of our pub is ÜksTeist. The motto of the pub is to be there for each other. The main exposition of the Lake Museum is live Estonian freshwater fish. Our freshwater fish are not exhibited elsewhere in Estonia in such species quantity.About half of Estonia's freshwater fish live here, including more exotic species, as well as turtles, lake balls, and crayfish.You can visit 2 floor aquariums and 2 large cylindrical aquariums. There are more than 25 different aquariums in total. There is also a collection of fishing gear, an exhibition of primitive fish, and much more!You can book a sauna raft for a pleasure cruise or a sauna session and use a seminar room with a million-dollar view. During summers, a café is open.

The Fairy Trail, also known as the Vitipalu Adventure Trail, offers a fairytale experience for both children and adults. The trail takes you through the mushroom and berry forests of Elva, where Witch Island awaits, featuring the lovely "Little Witch" house, cool tree sculptures, and a low-adventure trail built in the middle of the forest, perfect for children and families to have a great time in nature. The 1.4 km long trail, part of which is accessible with a stroller, intersects with the Elva River's primeval valley hiking trail and introduces the diverse landscape of Elva. The trail starts and ends at the RMK Jõeharu picnic area and camping site, where several shelters with grills and campfire sites are available.
