Lake Museum

The main exposition of the Lake Museum is live Estonian freshwater fish. Our freshwater fish are not exhibited elsewhere in Estonia in such species quantity.About half of Estonia’s freshwater fish live here, including more exotic species, as well as turtles, lake balls, and crayfish.You can visit 2 floor aquariums and 2 large cylindrical aquariums. There are more than 25 different aquariums in total. There is also a collection of fishing gear, an exhibition of primitive fish, and much more!You can book a sauna raft for a pleasure cruise or a sauna session and use a seminar room with a million-dollar view. During summers, a café is open.

Tartu Environmental Education Centre encourages people to value nature and behave in an environmentally friendly way. Otepää Winterplace – four months of winter fun for the entire family!Otepää Winterplace is a winter fun park for the entire family that offers various leisure activities in the Linnamäe Valley in the centre of Otepää. Here, you will find snowtubing tracks and tube rental, sledging and skiing slopes, Zipfy sledges for hire, a skating rink and igloo cinema. Children of various ages, teenagers and adults alike can find something exiting to do here.

Primary course for making craft wine at Murimäe Winery

Participants of the primary course for making craft wine at Murimäe Farm will learn how to make wine from different ingredients and use the necessary instruments and additives (yeasts, fermentation stoppers, clarifiers). We will also talk about bottling and the legitimation of craft wines (Murimäe Winery is a recognised wine producer). We will taste wines from five different Estonian ingredients (sea buckthorn, black chokeberry, cherry, rhubarb, gooseberry).The visit also includes a tour of the vineyard and the winery, where we will introduce the activities of the Murimäe Winery and Nordic viticulture.

SPARGEL — the cosy restaurant-gallery is located in the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, where art can be found both on the walls and on the plate.Based on seasonal and local ingredients, we offer an à la carte menu, which offers a selection dishes from rabbit to herring and a range of vegan dishes. Our lunch and monthly specials and themed catering are also very popular. The cosy rooms of the restaurant-gallery can be booked for birthdays, company celebrations, and other events. The restaurant has children’s chairs and menu, and a wonderful two-storey playroom with a slide.The exclusive backyard outdoor cafeteria, surrounded by nature, is open during summer months.

Swimming Pool of Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort

The glass walls of the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort Swimming Pool offer magnificent views of Lake Pühajärv and the manor park that surrounds the hotel. You can enjoy underwater music and the pleasant sensations created by massage streams when swimming in the large, 25 m and four-lane pool.shallow end of the pool is 1.05 m deep and the depth of the deep end is 1.85 m, the water temperature is 27 °C. Kostja Onion Farm

Contact Konstantin, the owner of Kostja Onion Farm, when the onions are starting to ripen. You can buy any variety and quantity of onions and onion garlands from him. You can also buy mouth-watering onion pies, which must be ordered in advance. They are worth it! For those interested in onion cultivation, Kostja offers a guided tour (in Estonian, German, and Russian), during which he introduces the traditional onion-growing methods of the Old Believers and modern tips for growing onions in your garden. The farm also offers onion wreath weaving workshops.
