Children’s floor of the Estonian Road Museum

Kanepi vald, Põlva maakond, 63122

There is a unique children’s museum on the first floor of the Varbuse post station of the Road Museum. Children have the whole floor to themselves for having fun. Here, you will find exciting reading, educational games and activities, a puppet theatre, and the Chamber of Secrets which introduces fairy tales.There is an animal called Ajaloom (Time Animal) living in the children’s museum who is excited to meet his new friends to explore together what time is.
The children’s floor is perfect for organising birthdays: it can accommodate up to 20 guests.

Anne Canal

Anne Canal is located in the city of Tartu, where you can enjoy summer beach fun. The beach has a golden sandy beach that awaits sunbathers and sandcastle builders. There is also a playground with swings, climbing ladders, and a slide. There are fitness trails, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court along the Canal. There are changing cabins and toilets on the beach. During the swimming season, the beach café Lennuk is open, where you can buy refreshing drinks and street food. In winter, you can go winter swimming in Anne Canal and go ice skating with your own skates. Good to know: During the summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards.

Pedeli River nature trail and cycle and pedestrian tracks

The nature trail connecting two cities runs along the banks of the Pedeli River. The asphalt trail is 5 km long. If you find yourself on a boardwalk in the middle of the path, you have already crossed the border. Take the time to climb the stairs to Pudrumägi hill, which offers a wonderful view of the twin cities! There is no rush here – there are children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms, a beach, a recreation area on the peninsula, and even dog parks by the trail. The tracks are perfect for walking, cycling, rollerblading, and skiing. Come and enjoy this beautiful city!

Cafe-Restaurant Suur Muna

Café-restaurant Suur Muna is located in Haanja Nature Park, right at the foot of the highest peak in the Baltics, Suur Munamäe, and is one of the most popular places to eat in South Estonia. The food is primarily made from local and organic ingredients sourced from farmers in Võru County, following the "farm to table" principle. Otepää Central Square

In the summer of 2020, the Otepää Central Square and Flag Square dedicated to the Estonian tricolour got a new look. The Central Square is illustrated by Bruno Kadak's bronze sculpture – the fountain 'Fun Ott'.There is a well-known belief around the world that throwing a coin in a fountain brings happiness, but when coming to the Otepää fountain, you have to scratch the bear's rear paw.The Flag Square has one of the highest flagpoles in Estonia. Next to the Estonian flagstaff are pavilions and information stands telling the story of the flag. Aura Centre sauna centre

The Aura Centre sauna centre has saunas, pleasant baths, and cooling options for every taste. The sauna centre also has a cozy relaxation area and an outdoor terrace with an igloo sauna and two jacuzzis, one of which is refreshingly cold and the other pleasantly warm. There are 8 different saunas in the sauna centre – steam saunas with different temperatures, a juniper sauna, a salt rock sauna, an aroma sauna, a steam aroma sauna, a sanarium, and an igloo sauna. There are 11 different saunas in total. You can cool off in the crisp winter room or by using the facilities offered by the ice machine, cold water bucket, or cool bath. In addition to cooling off in a cool bath, you can relax in warm jacuzzis and a 40-degree Japanese bath. Have you tried bowling but not skittles? Do you know what the difference is? To get answers to your questions, visit us at Elva Bowling and Resto! We have four lanes and are the only open bowling alley in South Estonia, where both adults and children can play, with a group or alone. We rent out bowling shoes (sizes 28-48). The menu at our restaurant is also like an adventure! Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome to join the fun. Kuningamäe go-karting center

The Kuningamäe go-karting center is situated just outside of Põltsamaa. It is a competition track, but can also be used by amateurs and enthusiasts. It is a relatively fast track, with an average speed of more than 60 km per hour. It is 850 metres long, with two straights, fast curves and technically complex S-curves. If the number of people wanting to use the track is greater than the number it will allow, those off the track can watch events from the monitors in the track-side box.
