Räpina Snow White Kiosk

Pargi tn 24, Räpina vald, Põlva maakond, 64505

The architectural solution of Räpina children’s kiosk is inspired by the book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.In the past, the interior walls of the kiosk were decorated with humorous portraits of the seven dwarfs, which always generated excitement in younger guests. The Snow White kiosk brought joy to children and made Räpina a popular destination among visitors. The kiosk sold children’s favourites – lemonade and sweets.The children’s kiosk is no longer in operation and the house is usually empty. Its doors are opened on the day of Räpina home cafes.At other times, it is possible to explore the house and admire it from the outside.

Elistvere study trail

Elistvere study trail is located in Elistvere village, Tartu County. The trail is 2 km long back and forth and starts at the Elistvere Animal Park. At the end of the study trail you will find the magical Lake Elistvere with an observation tower offering a great view to the flora surrounding the lake and animals running in the bushy greenery. The information boards at the road help the visitors and there are several observation platforms. The trail can be completed in a wheelchair and with a children's stroller as well.The study trail can be accessed only during the opening hours of the animal park. The animal park has an entrance fee.

Podmotsa Village Chapel

Podmotsa Village Chapel is located in a small lakeside village in the middle of a medieval cemetery. The chapel, surrounded by lilacs and rowan trees, was built in 1760 and dedicated on Ascension Day. Because of this, it was built with young birches. There is a large stone cross near the chapel, as well as two smaller ones. According to local legend, these are the larger cross's sons. Beside the cemetery is the village swing, and the National Geographic yellow window, which acknowledges a unique landscape. Walking down to the lake from the village, one can also view the Kolpino Orthodox Church, which is currently located in Russian territory.

Canoe trip along the River Õhne in Mulgi County

Canoe trip "One Day, Two Countries" starts at the upper course of the River Õhne in the vicinity of Taagepera and Holdre castle and ends on Latvian soil.The river flows along a course that is interrupted by rapids and is partly surrounded by forests and fields. When combining several 3–7 km stretches of river, it becomes a 30 km canoe trip that lasts from an hour to an entire day and complements a summer holiday, birthday or company summer retreat perfectly.Come on a canoe trip along the River Õhne – you find a lot to admire and discover here!

Agirregoikoa Kennel visit and sled dog ride

Come and experience an adventure at the Agirregoikoa Kennel with Nordic sled dogs! A kennel visit lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, during which you can enjoy a 1.5 km long sled ride. After the ride, you can walk with the dogs and pet and cuddle them. Choose your favorite dog, take selfies, capture a memorable moment with a large group photo, and enjoy hot tea or coffee. We warm up and share stories about the dog breed and history. Sled dogs are therapy for children. We do sled rides with snow and cart rides without snow. Only kennel visits are offered during the summer period.

EELC Roosa Jacob’s Church

The legend speaks about the owner of Roosa manor, who had promised to build a church if he is saved from a shipwreck. When he had happily escaped the sea, he fulfilled his promise and the first church was built in Roosa in 1735.The current church is the third one in Roosa, built in 1893.The massive quarrystone walls have round-headed windows and brick ornaments, the tower has four sides and triangular gables. The altar-piece is a copy of the ″Christ on the Cross” from the St. Mary's Church in Rõuge and the organ is the first church organ the Kriisa brothers built in 1900.

Hansatall tavern

The tavern, which was built in true Hanseatic style, offers Estonian cuisine. In addition to different meat dishes, a large selection of different fish (eel, perch, flounder, herring, and pikeperch) is also offered. The menu also includes Estonian forest products such as chanterelles and cowberries. For dessert, you can enjoy our nostalgic snowball soup and sour milk pancakes.Here, you can host receptions, lunches, and dinners for groups.During summers, you can have a good time and enjoy delicious meals in the Hansa Hoov courtyard which has a fountain; various concerts and theatre productions are staged here.

Would you like to learn more about the past and present of Estonia's national defense force or see the places where battles took place in Valga County? When visiting the War Museum, you can get acquainted with military and armored vehicles, tanks, a Forest Brothers bunker, see the largest weapon collection in Estonia, and more. You can test your shooting skills on a shooting simulator. For groups, we offer guided tours, fun rides in various military vehicles, role-playing games with laser weapons, or flight simulations in an MI-8 helicopter, upon reservation.
