Taevaskoja Salamaa holiday village

Taevaskoja Salamaa – the best for a holiday! We are located in one of the most beautiful places in Estonia – Taevaskoja, in a 150-year-old coniferous forest, a 15-minute walk from sandstone outcrops. Cottages offer a wonderful opportunity for relaxation. There are four cottages for two on the territory, which can also accommodate an extra bed if necessary. The houses and sanitary facilities are accessible to wheelchair users. Pets are not allowed here. Our territory has everything you need for travelers with a caravan car`s and tent (pets are allowed in this area). In addition, there are barbecue areas, a pond for swimming, saunas, a children's playground, hiking trails and the river boat Lonny.

Elva Bowling and Resto Bowling Lanes

Have you tried bowling but not skittles? Do you know what the difference is? To get answers to your questions, visit us at Elva Bowling and Resto! We have four lanes and are the only open bowling alley in South Estonia, where both adults and children can play, with a group or alone. We rent out bowling shoes (sizes 28-48). The menu at our restaurant is also like an adventure! Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome to join the fun. Lutsu Farm welcomes all visitors, but specially those, interested in orienteering. The basics of orienteering will be introduced and there is option to practice it as well. Built in 1922, Arabella I is Estonia's oldest continuously operating ship and carries its historical charm to this day. Sailing on Tartu's Emajõgi River, the ship captivates with its elegance and peaceful journey through Old Town and the enchanting nature along the river. The historical Arabella I is suitable for corporate parties, weddings, birthdays, or special events. On board, there is a spacious lounge, stylish bar area, and modern presentation equipment, making the ship suitable for seminars or memorable receptions. Coop Hotel

Coop Hotel is located on the main street of Jõgeva, in the city centre, in a house with a dignified history.It all started almost 100 years ago in 1919, when the Jõgeva Economic Union was formed – the goal was to open a main store in the town.Coop Hotel opened its doors in September 2021, continuing the long history of the house.The hotel has rooms for every taste. You can choose between single and double rooms. One room has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility.In addition, guests staying with us can go to the sauna in the basement of the hotel.

Tartu St Alexander’s Church of the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church

Come and take a look at the two-storey St Alexander’s Church in Tartu with its onion domes inspired by old Russian church architecture (architect Vladimir Lunski). Construction of the church started in 1914 and it was re-consecrated in 2003. Interesting facts: - a zinc box with the remains of a saint and a copper plate with a letter have been placed in the cornerstone of Tartu Alexander’s Church. The cornerstone was put in place by Archbishop Ioann during the reign of Emperor Nicholas II on 27 May 1914; - the church was nationalised in 1940 and it was used as a storage building by the University of Tartu and the Estonian National Museum.

Kodavere Heritage Center

The Kodavere Heritage Center in Tartu County breathes new life into the historical Pala Town Hall, which has been the heart of the local community for years. The center showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Peipsi region and is a place where old stories, languages, and traditions are revitalized. Visitors can gain a comprehensive overview of the history of Kodavere parish municipalities and town halls, and view the intriguing photo exhibition "People of Kodavere Parish in Oskar Tõrva's Glass Negatives," which reveals the everyday and festive life of rural areas a century ago. Additionally, they can admire the handicraft exhibition "Kodavere Kupuliud," highlighting the skills of local craftsmen and folk aesthetics. A separate display is dedicated to the Kodavere dialect, an essential part of the region's identity. The center also features a memorial room for poet Anna Haava and an exhibit "Song Festivals in Pala 100 Years Ago." Guided tours and heritage culture workshops are offered by reservation, suitable for both school groups and adults.

Kostja Onion Farm

Contact Konstantin, the owner of Kostja Onion Farm, when the onions are starting to ripen. You can buy any variety and quantity of onions and onion garlands from him. You can also buy mouth-watering onion pies, which must be ordered in advance. They are worth it! For those interested in onion cultivation, Kostja offers a guided tour (in Estonian, German, and Russian), during which he introduces the traditional onion-growing methods of the Old Believers and modern tips for growing onions in your garden. The farm also offers onion wreath weaving workshops.
