Pargi tn 24, Räpina vald, Põlva maakond, 64505

The architectural solution of Räpina children’s kiosk is inspired by the book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In the past, the interior walls of the kiosk were decorated with humorous portraits of the seven dwarfs, which always generated excitement in younger guests. The Snow White kiosk brought joy to children and made Räpina a popular destination among visitors. The kiosk sold children’s favourites – lemonade and sweets. The children’s kiosk is no longer in operation and the house is usually empty. Its doors are opened on the day of Räpina home cafes. At other times, it is possible to explore the house and admire it from the outside.

A nature study trail in the southernmost point of Estonia

Drive along the Võru-Valga highway from Saru to Kuutsi-Tiitsa-Karisöödi-Ura-Naha (about 14 km). The trail is about 4.8 km long and it takes a couple of hours to walk it through. The trail starts under the oak-tree with a perimeter of about 4 metres in Naha farm and runs very close to the state border, so make sure you take your ID with you. Interesting to know: you cannot put your foot down on the southernmost point, as the geographically correct southernmost point of Estonia is situated about 5 steps away from the marked spot, just in the middle of the Peetri River.

Mesi Tare Lake Peipsi fish cooking workshop

In the Mesi Tare fish cooking workshop, we prepare local dishes from seasonal Peipsi fish! The fish cooking workshop, held in the courtyard of the Mesi Tare Holiday Home, covers the entire process from start to finish, including cleaning, filleting, preparation, and cooking the fish. Depending on the season and the fish we have, we cook uhhaa, a traditional fish soup, smoke the fish, pan fry fish, etc. And finally, the moment that everyone is especially looking forward to — we serve the food and enjoy an authentic meal in an Old Believers' village on the Onion Route. The winter fish cooking workshop includes an experience on the ice with a karakat ride on frozen Lake Peipsi, ice fishing, and preparing uhhaa. See you at the workshop!

People say that the tree is almost 300 years old, although researchers reckon it must be older (at least 400).Good to know: years ago, when the area around the tree was still covered in scrub, the hollow trunk of the tree was home to a bear enjoying its winter slumber.
