Koorküla Valgjärv Lake and campfire sites

The 2.2 km hiking trail in Kavadi runs along the banks of Lake Kavadi. The hiking trail begins and ends in New-Salus Park, which has a resting place, campfires with barbecue grilles and a campsite. The trail with the direction of travel winds both along the shore lane and under the forest. Lake Kavadi is considered the most articulated shore-lined lake in Estonia. The surface area of the lake is 27.4 ha. The current size and look have been acquired by the lake some 140 years ago when Baron C. FR. von Maydell, who bought the New-Salus mansion, swelled up three small swamp lakes.

Welcome to Sangaste Rukki Maja Guesthouse – where Estonia's national floral emblem, the cornflower, is held in great respect!Rukki Maja has 12 romantic guest rooms, the Rukki restaurant (which offers both a traditional and contemporary taste of southern Estonia) and a farm store from which you can buy the products of Sangaste and southern Estonian farmers.All of the rooms at the guesthouse are en suite and come with air conditioning, Internet, TV and radio. There is also a sauna in the building, and you can reserve the private lounge next to it, which has its own fireplace.

Kisejärve hiking trail is 6 km long and runs along former horse roads and swamp borders (rubber boots are recommended). The hiking trails takes you past several lakes, valuable nature and bog communities and you can also see the results of the activities of beavers.

Kirsi Farm is a cosy guesthouse in Setomaa, near Meremäe. The renovated farmhouse offers a comfortable stay for families. You can sleep in an old barn, a renovated livestock housing, or on hay in the loft. The rooms are decorated with photos of the hostess’s ancestors. There are also Seto folk costumes which you can try on. There is a camping and bonfire site, barbeque equipment, and a smoke sauna, where you can try making smoked meat with the host. Food in Kirsi Farm is made from local ingredients and some of the dishes are based on the family recipes of the hostess.

Veski Sports and Holiday Centre is located 2 km from Otepää on the shore of Lake Kaarna.A favorite place for tens of thousands of campers and an idyllic holiday complex next to Otepää!Depending on the season, you can swim in Lake Kaarna, walk or run in the forest, make a bonfire, ride a canoe or a boat, play different ball games or have fun at the playground. In winter, we will build a 3 km long ski trail, and if the ice on the lake permits, you can also skate. The territory has a beach volleyball court with sand, a ball court with artificial grass, and a football field. No event or camp is impossible for us!

Kakulaane Tourist Farm is located in a private, naturally beautiful place in Southern Estonia. We offer great opportunities for a pleasant holiday, summer and winter days, company parties, and birthdays.There are camping and holiday homes of various sizes and a large camping area. The tourist farm has a large open-air stage, an outdoor kitchen, South Estonia's largest smoke sauna, sports grounds, a playground, and a barbecue area. The Palumägede hiking trail is situated near Lake Pangodi, within the picturesque Pangodi Landscape Reserve, and is an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking an active holiday experience. The hiking trail offers diverse landscapes with pleasantly alternating ups and downs, adding a little excitement to the hike. The starting point of the hiking trail is conveniently located at the second parking lot of Palumägede, where you will also find an information board that gives a good overview of the surrounding nature. Clear signposts and benches along the trail make the walk particularly comfortable. The Palumägede campfire site offers a space for grilling, swimming, and camping.

The camping site has places for 50 caravans. The total area of our caravan site is 2500 m². Every vehicle has access to one power outlet. For our guests there is also a service house with showers, toilets, sinks, washing machine and a stove. We have fresh water supply and toilet emptying options. Reception is open from 8 a.m until 9 p.m. If needed, you may use our telephone and internet. The whole camping site has WiFi. We will organize dinner parties with cultural program if you book it in advance. On request we will take you on a trip to South-Estonia with a guide.
