There are two water rams in Tindioru: the first was built in 1939 and the second in 2002. The Tindioru water rams are rare tools that combine smart engineering and the interplay of natural forces. They can be considered a kind of symbol of Rõuge's inventive spirit — a time when everything had to be built by hand and in harmony with nature. When the ice-cold spring water starts to make the ram buzz, the whole valley seems to come to life. The sight is particularly enchanting in early spring, when the cold has shaped the water ram's splashes into tall and marvelous ice sculptures. Glittering in the sunlight, they appear like fairy tale castles emerging from the earth. The Tindioru water rams are a living memory of a time when water was man's main source of energy — and proof that genius lies in simplicity.

The TYPA Print and Paper Art Center, located in Tartu, invites you to participate in a paper marbling workshop. This technique, which is over a thousand years old, is a simple yet captivating way to create unique artworks. Marbling paints are dripped into a special water bath, where they float on the surface, and beautiful patterns can be formed using bamboo sticks or other tools. When paper is gently placed on the water's surface, the pattern transfers onto the sheet, creating a distinctive pattern. Each marbled paper is unique because the process starts anew with each sheet. This makes the workshop a special experience, resulting in something new and surprising every time. Participants can experiment with different colors and shapes, allowing creativity to flow freely. The finished paper can later be used in various ways. It is perfect for decorating cards, invitations, and gift packages, as book covers, or even as an interior design element. The marbled paper sheets created in the workshop bring joy both to the creator and as gifts for others.

The Winter Church is located in a converted auxiliary building of the old church manor and is used mostly in the winter period. It is a small and cosy church that was built largely with the money donated from Finland. The church was consecrated on 6 December 1992 – the Independence Day of Finland. The consecrated name of the winter church is the Widow and Orphan Chapel. It is dedicated to widows because they were the ones who kept the church alive with their small salaries in the Soviet times. The blue, black and white flag of the Estonian Student Union, which later became the national flag and in 1991 the official flag of the state of Estonia, was consecrated in the rectory of the church next to it
