Team game ‘Murder Mystery’ all over Estonia

The 7-kilometre-long Rebäse landscape trail is located in the Karula National Park. The trail runs through old farm landscapes, passing the oldest farmstead in the area and the Linnamägi hill with traces of settlement from the Early Iron Age. Hikers can climb up the local "Mount Ararat", see Lake Raudjärv with its ice-cold water, and admire one of the largest gullies of Karula upland.You may need sturdy boots to pass the trail because in rainy weather the trail might be muddy and the boardwalk slippery. The trail also passes pastures, so you might encounter curious but generally friendly cows. Be careful around farm fences, they may be electric!

While hiking at Hummuli health trail everyone can feel like becoming one with nature - silence, peace and nature's voices invite you to come back over and over again.The trail starts from Hummuli Manor School, passes the stadium and runs along the long oak alley to the Väike-Emajõgi river.There are an outdoor gym, discgolf courses, a campfire site for having a picnic, and a boat bridge suitable for fishing at the health trail. Hummuli health trail can be completed by walking, running, riding a bike or skiing in winter. The visitor can choose either the 2.2 km or 2.8 km trail, which are mostly covered with mulch.

The hike takes us through the beautiful Emajõe-Suursoo bog, where we spend the night in the wilderness on a secluded bog island. In the evening, we will prepare dinner on a camp stove, using as many seasonal forest products as possible. We will spend the night in hanging beds with a magnificent view of the sunrise! In the morning, we will have a light meal, take down camp, and hike across the bog to the end point. A local guide leads the hike, which includes the guide's service, equipment (bog shoes, hanging bed, camp stove), and meals (breakfast and dinner). Bring your pet along! The trip is led by an experienced tour guide who tells exciting stories about nature, animals, and the region. The air is full of nighttime mystery. Before the trip, there is kicksledding instruction, so everyone can learn to gracefully and competently use the wonderful vehicle, the kicksled. The trip is intended for adults. We travel at a leisurely pace, taking breaks to chat and look for signs of animal activity. In the mystery of nighttime, we can take time to pay attention to ourselves, our companions, and the interesting things around us.

The field of naturally growing daffodils, which is unique in the Baltic states, can be found in the Vara rural municipality. Yellow daffodils are rare in the wild and the daffodil field in Sookalduse is a rarity that has been taken under conservation. The daffodils originate from the bulb that Peep Sibul, the landlord of Sookalduse, got from Saare Manor and planted in his garden in the end of the 19th century.The yellow sea of flowers can be enjoyed from around the middle of April, depending on the spring.
