We organize fatbike hikes in Taevaskoda year-round. From spring to autumn, we ride along forest trails on the banks of the ancient valley of the Ahja River. In winter, we also stop by the ice of Lake Taevaskoda. The most famous places on the route are Suur- and Väike Taevaskoda, Neitsikoobas Cave, and the Kiidjärve water mill and manor park. The tour runs most of the time along beautiful forest trails in the varied landscape of South Estonia. The tour is suitable for anyone who is at least 150 cm tall. The pace is calm, and we take breaks to catch our breath and chat every 15-20 minutes. We talk about nature and local attractions. The illuminated kicksled, developed by Matkajuht, features LED lights that shine in four directions and a comfortable seat. It is not an ordinary sled with a bicycle light or headlamp. It has been specially designed for travel in the dark, so that the light shines discreetly, softly, and diffusely, without dazzling.

The host of Mesi Tare will take your group on an adventure to Piirissaar, a small island in Lake Peipsi! We start from the Varnja Harbor, where the host will be waiting with a fishing boat. The boat trip lasts two hours, depending on the weather and water level. We will walk with a guide through Piirissaar's three villages and see all the important places on the island, including the Piirissaare Old Believers Museum, the location of the Old Believers' prayer house, the Orthodox church and the Piirissaare Titanic. You do not need previous experience or canoeing skills because the canoes are stable, and the instruction beforehand is thorough. We organize canoe trips along the most attractive sections of the Võhandu River; trips can last from two hours to three days. The river valley is popular with hikers for its unique sandstone outcrops. The canoe trip includes equipment (canoes, paddles, life jackets, waterproof bags), instruction, shore security, and a car transfer to the endpoint.
