The disc golf course at the arboretum of Tähtvere Leisure Park has 18 holes with a wide range of hole lengths. The total length of the course is almost 2 kilometres. Discs can be rented from the Information Desk of Tartu Festival Arena based on a price list. The rental package includes a returnable game guide and a scorecard for players to use.Completing the entire track takes up to two hours.NB! Discs are not rented during major events at the arena. The nature trail connecting two cities runs along the banks of the Pedeli River. The asphalt trail is 5 km long. If you find yourself on a boardwalk in the middle of the path, you have already crossed the border. Take the time to climb the stairs to Pudrumägi hill, which offers a wonderful view of the twin cities! There is no rush here – there are children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms, a beach, a recreation area on the peninsula, and even dog parks by the trail. What does life really look like in the Old Believers' villages by Lake Peipus? This question is answered by Mesi Tare's host, Marko, who takes guests on a walking tour through the historic village of Varnja. This is not a regular excursion but a personal, direct experience in which the village, its people, and their stories unfold through the eyes of a local resident. Marko has been connected to Peipsiveere all his life, and his stories are based on real experiences. He has worked as a border guard, been a fisherman and boat captain, and today he operates as a tourism entrepreneur. During the tour, Marko discusses the customs, architecture, and lifestyle of the Old Believers, as well as the importance of Lake Peipus for the local community. Walking tours are arranged by prior reservation and tailored to visitors' interests and schedules. In addition to Varnja village, you can explore Kolkja village and Kallaste town, each with its own character and story. If desired, the tour can be combined with a visit to the Varnja Samovar House.

Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre disc golf park offers enjoyable active recreation in a beautiful forested park in South Estonia. The 9-basket course is suitable for both first-time players and more experienced disc golfers, offering varied terrain, exciting throws, and a nature-friendly playing experience. For the convenience of visitors, the course starts and ends in the immediate vicinity of the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre's main building. Disc golf discs can be rented on-site during the center's opening hours, so no prior preparation or personal equipment is required to play. The disc golf park is well-suited for both a short stopover and a longer active day, which can easily be combined with other leisure activities offered by Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre. At Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre, visitors are also welcomed by archery ranges, sports fields, and shooting ranges, as well as accommodation options in the caravan park, hostel, and camping and tent area, offering several opportunities for a longer holiday.

The beautiful Vooremäe health trails in the Kastre rural municipality are open all year round. The trails are perfect for walking, running, cycling, and skiing. The longest skiing track is 8 km long and 4.2 km of it is illuminated until 10 p.m. in the winter. There is a sled hill (also illuminated) and downhill bike tracks and wonderful views.Since spring 2016, it is also possible to play disc golf here (18 baskets).

The Taevaskoda (Heaven’s Halls) hiking trails offer experiences at every step, regardless of the season and weather. During the hike, we might see a kingfisher while the guide tells legends about the outcrops of Taevaskoda and helps participants recognise the places where the movie Viimne reliikvia was filmed. We will also discuss the relationship between nature and humans over the years. We will agree on the length and theme of the hike with the participants. The Tõrva Health Trail winds through the scenic park forest surrounding Lake Vanamõisa, following paths through old-growth trees and lakeside woods. It connects Tõrva Gymnasium, the beach area of Lake Vanamõisa, and the gymnasium’s stadium complex. In 2017, it was recognized as the best health sports facility in Estonia. The main hiking loop is 11.1 km long. In winter, the park offers illuminated ski tracks of various lengths. Together with the Tõrva stadium, Tõrva Veemõnula water and sauna centre, outdoor gym, low ropes course, and disc golf track, the trail forms a well-rounded sports complex.
