During the winter season, Tähtvere Sport Park offers a variety of winter activities and the famous Tähtvere ski trails, suitable for both amateurs and more athletic visitors. The recreational park features ski trails with artificial snow, totaling approximately 4 kilometers, allowing skiing even when natural snow is scarce. When natural snow is available, additional ski trails open in the dendropark, totaling about 5 kilometers, and a trail along the Emajõgi River, approximately 2.5 kilometers long. At the heart of the park is the Tartu Song Festival Grounds, where an ice rink is opened under the arch in suitable weather conditions. A sledding hill, sports fields, and playgrounds are also nearby. In the same area, it is possible to rent skates and skis according to the season. Note: In rainy weather and when temperatures are above zero, the ice rink and rental services are closed. Tähtvere Sport Park is an ideal place to enjoy winter, be active, and spend quality time in the fresh air.

Come and discover the charm of Kütiorg – Estonia’s largest and deepest valley in Haanja Nature Park offers experiences in every season!Kütiorg Centre combines beautiful nature, active leisure and cosy accommodation – here, adrenaline meets peace, sport meets relaxation. In winter, all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts are welcome. The valley features 7 slopes, so everyone can find their favourite. There are 4 ski lifts. Artificial snow is produced, so winter fun can last until spring. In summer, you can hike the longer (9.6 km) or shorter (2.8 km) Kütiorg trail, enjoy the lake with a SUP board or water bike, and play volleyball or badminton. It’s also a great place to organise summer days, corporate events, birthdays and other celebrations. The main building houses a café and equipment rental. We also offer accommodation and relaxing sauna experiences. In Kütiorg, sporting challenges meet natural wonders – an ideal place for families, friends and groups. Take a break, enjoy movement, and admire the best views in Southern Estonia!

Kuningamäe health trails are waiting for you in Põltsamaa, Central Estonia! Three marked trails are open for runners, walkers, and cyclists: 1.1, 1.5, and 5 km.At the beginning of the trail, there is a health trail map, a stretching wall, a bike rack, and a parking area for cars. There is also the Kuningamäe Disc Golf Park. In winter, lighted ski trails are open on Kuningamäe.

The beautiful Vooremäe health trails in the Kastre rural municipality are open all year round. The trails are perfect for walking, running, cycling, and skiing. The longest skiing track is 8 km long and 4.2 km of it is illuminated until 10 p.m. in the winter. There is a sled hill (also illuminated) and downhill bike tracks and wonderful views.Since spring 2016, it is also possible to play disc golf here (18 baskets).

The 18-course Sportland Prodigy Disc Golf Park, which is located in Mahlamäe, Elva, welcomes all disc golf enthusiasts and those who have never played it.The courses are situated on a diverse 2.7 km trail in the forest and are the perfect place to spend some lovely time in the wild. We do not rent discs here. Discs can be rented from the Nõo Sports Centre (according to the price list) or from the Discgolfar.ee Training Centre in Tartu (12 Pikk Street). The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00. Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.

Kuutsemäe, the most attractive and compact mountain sports centre in Estonia, offers leisure opportunities during all seasons. By today, the centre has proved its sustainability, and since 1991, it has been the only mountain skiing and snowboarding centre in Estonia that operates without interruption. The diversity of sports facilities and beautiful nature bring active people to Kääriku throughout the year.Kääriku Sports Centre was established in 1947 as a study and training centre of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the University of Tartu. Today, the modern sports centre has a ball hall, tennis and beach volleyball courts, athletics and football stadium, and ski and hiking trails. There is an outdoor swimming pool, the Kekkonen sauna and Green sauna, a sandy beach, and a children's playground by Lake Kääriku. We also offer accommodation, catering, and conference rooms all year round.
