A canoe trip on the Võhandu River in spring definitely requires previous paddling experience, but it certainly offers an adventure. The river is fast-flowing, with rapids and old mill sites (the most famous are Viira, Süvahavva, and Reo Mills) that demand great attention from the paddler. When descending from the mill dams, the person sitting in the front seat may get a bucketful of crisp water over the canoe sides onto their lap. Capsizing is not uncommon at Viira artificial rapids, but we have considered it and made preparations. The trip organizer provides instructions at the beginning of the trip and serves as a guide from the shore at mill dams and bridge locations, where photos of the paddlers are taken. The river is surrounded by sandstone cliffs. In summer, the water flow is calmer, and certain parts of the river may run low on water. The trip can also be planned as a 2-3 day journey, covering the entire Võhandu Marathon route. With the spring high water, it is possible to complete Estonia's longest downstream waterway, approximately 154 km long. We organize the trip for groups starting from 6 members.

Between the forests of Elva is a mysterious body of water – Lake Vaikne. The beautiful forest lake is a sight in itself and enchants visitors with its charming nature and silence at any time of the year. The lake has also won the attention of the poet J. Kärner, who at one time often came here to gather inspiration.The place is suitable for a responsible holidaymaker who prefers less populated places and wants to have a breath-taking experience. The lake is suitable for swimming – the water is clean and very warm.Use the wooden bridge to dive into the lake!Swimming is at your own risk!The area is illustrated by the wooden sculptures of the Nature Energy Trail.

The big beautiful prayer house in Varnja Village on the shores of Lake Peipus was funded and built by the congregation itself. Most of the many icons of the prayer house date back to the start of the 20th century.Visitors can only enter the church with a reservation.The cost of a single visit for a group starts from 50 euros. Visitors get an interesting overview of the life and history of the Old Believers from a local guide who is also an Old Believer. The excursion may last for about an hour - the visit and a warm experience are worth it!Reminder: Women are asked to enter the prayer house with a covered head.We ask you not to take photos or videos in the prayer house.

The 5 km running, imitation and Nordic walking trail for trainings is accessible from the upper car park of Tehvandi main building near the stadium and next to the gate of the maintenance house; the trail starts in the middle of the rise of Kunimägi ski track and runs along the area of Hobuseraua, Püksisääre and Ansomägi. The trail has a though relief with difficult ascents and complex descents. The trail is partially covered by sawdust and marked with 15 x 15 cm boards of blue arrows. Pay attention when crossing ski scooter tracks!

The 18-course Sportland Prodigy Disc Golf Park, which is located in Mahlamäe, Elva, welcomes all disc golf enthusiasts and those who have never played it.The courses are situated on a diverse 2.7 km trail in the forest and are the perfect place to spend some lovely time in the wild. We do not rent discs here. Discs can be rented from the Nõo Sports Centre (according to the price list) or from the Discgolfar.ee Training Centre in Tartu (12 Pikk Street). Saatse Church was completed in 1801. This congregation has been a mixed congregation of Setos and Russians. Saatse's biggest holiday is St. Paraskeva's Day (the last Friday in July.). Paraskeva means "Friday" in Greek. The church has "royal gates" from the old wooden church, and a 15th century stone cross. The only saint of Seto background is associated with the church: St. Stefanus, a former parish priest, who is depicted in icons in Seto folk costume. In 1919, Stefanus was shot along with Father Vassili, who was also declared a saint.
