Jõeniidu Holiday House is a few kilometres from the centre of Haanja and is suitable for small groups, families and for those travelling by two.There is a pond next to the Holiday House, a sauna on the bank of a river and you can go for a boat ride. Domestic animals and goats waiting for your pat and whose everyday doings you can see here make the Jõeniidu Holiday House special. Under the hostess’s instructions it is possible to make goat cheese and bread.

Anne Canal

Anne Canal is located in the city of Tartu, where you can enjoy summer beach fun. The beach has a golden sandy beach that awaits sunbathers and sandcastle builders. There is also a playground with swings, climbing ladders, and a slide. There are fitness trails, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court along the Canal. There are changing cabins and toilets on the beach. During the swimming season, the beach café Lennuk is open, where you can buy refreshing drinks and street food. In winter, you can go winter swimming in Anne Canal and go ice skating with your own skates. Good to know: During the summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards.

Birdwatching tower in the Räpina polder conservation area

The tower on Räpina beach, completed in 2020, is located in the Räpina polder conservation area near Räpina harbour. The 18-metre-high tower consists of three platforms and three observation platforms. The highest extended part provides better visibility to the polder conservation area, shore area, Lake Lämmijärv, Salusaar Island, and Russia.The birdwatching tower offers beautiful views in any weather and in any season. It is primarily intended for nature observation and bird watching. This allows people looking for nature experiences to see the species in the conservation area without disturbing the surroundings.

Water tower of Raadi Manor

The water tower of Raadi Manor dates back to the 19th century. In ancient times, the tower housed the manor clock, which let the manor workers know it was time for lunch. After World War II, the building was used by the Soviet army and was restored in 2002.Inside the water tower is an exhibition of the Estonian National Museum. Visiting the photo exhibition Raadi Through the Ages, which runs along the floors of the water tower, offers not only historical knowledge but also enchanting views of the cosy Raadi Manor Park.The exhibition is open by reservation and a visit to the water tower can be ordered together with the guided tour of the Estonian National Museum 'Raadi Manor Park Tour'.

Anderson Brewery in Tartu offers an excellent opportunity to participate in a barbecue and beer workshop, where you can enjoy grilled meat and taste Estonian craft beers! The workshop will teach you the basics of grilling, such as choosing meat, grilling beef and duck breast fillets, and making chimichurri herb sauce. During the brewery tour, we will taste eight different beers, learn about the history of beer, get acquainted with the brewing process, and explore the factory shop and the backstage of the brewery. Scooter hike on the timeline of Setomaa

A hike that combines physical activity, fresh air, and a sense of history!Come alone, bring a friend or all of them, and enjoy a scooter hike in the magnificent atmosphere of Setomaa in the landscapes and villages near Lake Lämmijärv. We will ride along the old lake bed, through pine forests, pass ancient settlements and burial mounds, until we reach a traditional well-preserved Seto residence.The hike starts and ends at the parking lot of the Mäe Nature House of the State Forest Management Centre. Kasepää Old Believers’ Prayer House of the Estonian Association of Old Believers Congregations

When in Kasepää Village near Lake Peipus, go and visit the prayer house of Russian Old Believers, which has been operating without interruption since the 18th century.The current prayer house was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was designed by the governorate architect Wilhelm Schilling in 1902. The Florov school masters renewed the icons of the iconostasis in the prayer house before the Second World War. Some of the icons in the chapel date back as far as to the 17th century.Prayers are held in the chapel in Russian on Sundays at 10 a.m.
