At our small but authentic Kolkja Fish and Onion Restaurant, we offer genuine Old Believer dishes from the Peipsi region, prepared with freshly caught lake fish and locally grown, world-famous Peipsi onions. The dishes are based on traditional recipes passed down through generations, reflecting the unique culinary culture of the Peipsi lakeshore area. The menu features smoked fish, richly flavored fish soup, hearty onion soup, juicy fish patties, and a variety of desserts, including traditional Old Believer pies. The culinary experience is crowned with a traditional samovar tea, which is best enjoyed slowly in good company. The restaurant is located on the Onion Route (Sibulatee), and our cozy setting is perfect for families, friends, and travel groups alike. For groups, we offer the opportunity to arrange storytelling by the restaurant’s hostess about local life and Old Believer customs, as well as readings from old books, making the visit unique and memorable.

Uulits, the pioneer of the Estonian street food, offers fresh street food in a modern, healthy, and Estonian way in Viimsi Centre.Our menu includes juicy beef burgers and wraps, handmade potatoes, and natural beverages made from fresh ingredients. There is also a menu for vegetarians. We make all mayonnaise, jams, sauces, and ketchups on the spot.Anyone who appreciates a high-quality taste experience is welcome to enjoy real street food in Uulits.

Imagine eating your favourite dish without seeing it on the plate. How will it taste like? Come and experience our blind dining to find out. The purpose of blind dining is to emphasise and activate the senses that are usually in the background. The dinner consists of seven or five courses prepared by our head chef and is complemented with delicious wines. The participants will have to guess what they are eating, guided solely by the taste and their intuition. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The dinner starts with refreshments and sparkling wine. The minimum size of the group is eight people. The dinner lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Café Newton, located in the center of Tartu at the AHHAA Science Center, is a pleasant place for both lunch and leisure. Our menu offers a refreshing, varied selection of daily specials and classic dishes. The selection includes soups, various steaks, and vegetarian dishes. Every day, a fresh cake selection is displayed at the counter, delighting every sweet tooth. A separate menu is provided for children, tailored to our young guests, along with a children's play area offering plenty of activities for longer periods. Café Newton offers catering for training sessions, seminars, birthdays, and other events at AHHAA. It is also convenient to organize a company Christmas party, a birthday party, or a family lunch here. Café Newton's menu is flexible and caters to all tastes. During the summer, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Tartu from our spacious terrace. No AHHAA ticket is required to visit Café Newton, and entry is free for everyone. AHHAA visitors can visit the café throughout their stay at the center.

The à la carte restaurant of Pesa Hotel is perfect for relaxing and having a business lunch. The 55-seat hall is perfect for corporate events and birthdays. Groups can also choose a more private room (up to 20 people). In summer, the sun terrace is open. You can also order snacks to the mini spa Sõstar of Pesa hotel.We prefer to use local Vana-Võromaa raw ingredients in our dishes. Forest Restaurant – is the art of cooking and serving food in the wild.The interior changes every season and the experience comes from authentic food, which is partly cooked over open fire. No plastic plates, plastic tents or garden chairs. There is a campfire, wooden dinnerware, camping frying pans, and a sooty coffee pot.Celebrate your birthday in nature with your friends, sitting by the fire, enjoying good food and having a pleasant conversation. If you want, you can order Forest Restaurant to a place suitable for you. The service is available for groups from 10 people in Põlva County and from 15 people elsewhere in Estonia. A transport fee of 150€ is added to the price outside Põlva County.
