Veelinnu Farm offers accommodation in three camping houses, which are located on the edge of a pine forest, about 80 m from Lake Õrsava.The first camping house has two bunk beds, the second house has a bunk bed and a wide bed, and the third house has a wide bed and a narrow bed.It is also possible to use the outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. The outdoor kitchen has a stove, kettle, and utensils for cooking and eating.You can camp under a pine forest and rent a rowing boat to explore Lake Õrsava. There are also facilities for washing.Veelinnu Farm camping houses now also have the Hiker-Friendly label.
Hostel is located in a sports building with a gym (18x42m), fitness studio, sauna and solarium. We have an employed masseur. It's a good place for organizing children camps. 600m swimming place with Coast Guard. We also organize canoe trips on Õhne river.
The highest court of the Republic of Estonia, the Estonian Supreme Court that operated in Tartu from 1920 to 1935, is located in this building. The building was initially built as a barracks in 1763, the university hospital was built on its ruins in 1808 and the Estonian Supreme Court has been in the building since 1995. The stable Latrex 450 with a trimaran base has been transformed into a floating motorised tent with the help of a canopy tent, a platform between the seats and seat covers. It is nice to sail with the boat just for fun, catch fish, and spend the night on the water as if you were in a tent.The nearby Emajõe Suursoo is a large network of waterways that fascinates with its wildness, size, picturesque views, swamp inhabitants, abundance of fish, and isolation.With the "Tent boat" it is possible to comfortably camp on water at Suursoo without the need to access RMK campsites. A large mosquito net surrounds the bed of the boat and the tent protects against natural phenomena. Suitable for couples to be alone in nature.
A summer rafting trip is comfortable and safe; moreover, it also suits those who otherwise do not have much faith in boating trips. This is a fun activity for everyone who wants to enjoy a rafting trip in a larger group. It is also suitable for families with children.The raft can hold 7 people, the larger one can take 9; in addition, children can sit in the middle. There is no danger of going overboard. You can also take breaks during the trip in order to have a snack on the river banks.Sights of the Võhandu River include: watermill rapids, sand walls, hidden caves; animals: minks, otters, beavers; birds: ducks (romantic couples, mothers and ducklings), kingfishers, falconiforms hunting for ducks.
Räpina polder on the banks of Lake Lämmijärv is a bird-nesting area of international importance. It is a place of nesting and migrating through for many protected bird species. Of the species that nest here, the prominent ones from the perspective of bird protection are corn crake, black tern and little gull, to whom the Räpina polder is one of the best areas in Estonia. Of the migratory birds, the most important species are crane and white-fronted goose. The polder is an important place of nesting and stopping also for waterfowls and Charadriiformers. Up to 1.5 million birds pass through this area during the migration period. The area is the most important assembling area of migratory birds in Eastern Estonia. There are watchtowers for bird watching.
