The Wood Shop’s breadmaster will guide you through the process of the perfect bread dough, and show you all the good ingredients and the secret components to a well risen dough and delicious taste. In the end of the workshop the Bread Room is full of irritatingly good bread baking fragrance. And of course no one is leaving without tasting the outcome of this exciting workshop and you can also take the leaven to go, to keep up the new learned skill of breadmaking. And if later there’s a need for a bread basket, Avinurme Wood-Shop can offer exactly what you need.

The cathedral located on Tartu's Toome Hill is one of Estonia's most remarkable and largest medieval structures, and the only church with two towers. The church's construction began as early as the 13th century, when Tartu was an important bishopric. Construction work and additions continued into the early 16th century. During the Reformation, the cathedral was abandoned and, over time, turned into ruins. Nevertheless, these powerful walls and spacious vaults remain one of the most outstanding examples of brick Gothic architecture in Old Livonia, reflecting the scale and craftsmanship of medieval architecture. The University of Tartu Museum operates in the cathedral building, showcasing the history of science, university education, and the development of Tartu's academic spirit. It is possible to visit the cathedral towers, which offer one of the most beautiful views of Tartu and the Emajõgi Valley. Next to the towers is Toompood, where you can find gifts, science-themed souvenirs, and memorabilia with university symbols. In the evenings, a light installation adds a magical atmosphere.

Sailing along the Emajõgi River, over the Peipus, Võrtsjärv, and Saadjärv lakes, as well as out at sea, the Viking ship "Turm" is an open vessel which sets out on voyages between May and September each year. Able to accommodate up to 12 passengers: larger groups can take turns enjoying the Viking fun at sea or on shore. In addition to voyaging on water, you can take part in exciting Viking games, and show that you've got the strength required for the journey. Sailing on the "Turm" is best suited to older children, teenagers, young adults, and those who enjoy physical exercise.

Are you tired of the city life? Pühajärve Boat Harbor in Otepää is the best place to get away from it all. Row a boat or enjoy picturesque views from a pedal boat with your family or friends. Try a SUP board or surf bike. We rent various watercraft for fun on Pühajärve, such as row boats, canoes, surf bikes, water bikes, SUP boards, and kayaks. You can also rent fishing kits from us for angling or spinning. There is also the beautiful Pühajärve Beach, with its clean sand, swimming pier, beach volleyball courts, children's playgrounds, and gazebos. You can grab a snack at the Pühajärve Beach Café.

The Kalevipoja Museum, located in Jõgeva County, Kääpa, is named after the Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg". In the nearby river lies the sword of Kalevipoja, and around it lie the resting places, stones, springs and furrows of the ancient sangari. This is where you can start a real journey into the world of the Estonian national epic! The museum's permanent exhibition gives an overview of the epic, and you can learn about the most important events in a playful way. Anyone who wishes can listen to the epic as an audiobook or sit in the "Plane" and watch a short film about places in Estonia related to Kalevipoja. Do you dare to try what it feels like to be Kalevipoeg yourself? In a virtual reality adventure, you can pick up your sword and fight Sarviktaat! Families, groups of friends and groups are welcome! Canoe trip "One Day, Two Countries" starts at the upper course of the River Õhne in the vicinity of Taagepera and Holdre castle and ends on Latvian soil.The river flows along a course that is interrupted by rapids and is partly surrounded by forests and fields. When combining several 3–7 km stretches of river, it becomes a 30 km canoe trip that lasts from an hour to an entire day and complements a summer holiday, birthday or company summer retreat perfectly.Come on a canoe trip along the River Õhne – you find a lot to admire and discover here!

The Ülenurme Manor Park was established in the second half of the 19th century when the new manor was built. The Historicist main building of the manor, as well as the smaller buildings next to the park, which are used by the Estonian Agricultural Museum, have been well preserved.Here, you can see farm animals, ride ponies, and visit exhibitions. From 15 May 2021 to 30 April 2022, you can visit the wonderful exhibition of agricultural machinery models 'World of Mini Tractors'.Ülenurme Park is a wonderful place for the whole family to walk and enjoy nature. There are information boards in the park,so you can study the different types of trees and shrubs growing here.
