Lake Pühajärv Park

Ranna tee 1, Otepää vald, Valga maakond, 67408

Families with children are particularly welcome in the Lake Pühajärv Park as there are many opportunities to feed ducks and other birds when walking on the lakeshore. There is an exercise track by the northern part of the park. This is also the place where you will find the beach with a beach house, cafés, arbours and boat hire.The park used to be a part of the Pühajärv Manor Park and it was designed as a walking forest with paths already in the 19th century. The park is mainly a naturally grown forest.

Põltsamaa Adventure Park

Põltsamaa Adventure Park is located in WPark, a summer mecca that offers active holidays, adventure, and fun water sports.Our adventure park is built on 9-metre-high pillars, which makes it one of the most unique adventure parks in Estonia. Climbing is done floor by floor, and each new level brings more excitement and challenges. There are 60 platforms in total and at the end there's a 130 m long zipline to the small island on Lake Kamari. One of the advantages when coming with friends, family or colleagues is that you can stay together and support each other while climbing. Different seasons and weather don't affect the adventure park. Come at any time and in any weather, we are waiting for you!

Luua Manor Park

Luua Manor Park is located in Vooremaa Landscape Protection Area in Jõgeva County. The main building of the Luua manor complex with its ancillary buildings and park are protected under heritage conservation. The park has been protected since 1959. Its area is 19.7 hectares.The park is extremely rich in species. It has about 150 taxa of trees and bushes; about 110 of them are alien species.The park is a home to protected bats: northern bats, Daubenton's bats, brown long-eared bats, Brandt' bats or whiskered bats, pond bats, Nathusius's pipistrelles, common noctules, common pipistrelles, and tawny owls.

Pedeli River nature trail and cycle and pedestrian tracks

The nature trail connecting two cities runs along the banks of the Pedeli River. The asphalt trail is 5 km long. If you find yourself on a boardwalk in the middle of the path, you have already crossed the border. Take the time to climb the stairs to Pudrumägi hill, which offers a wonderful view of the twin cities! There is no rush here – there are children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms, a beach, a recreation area on the peninsula, and even dog parks by the trail. The tracks are perfect for walking, cycling, rollerblading, and skiing. Come and enjoy this beautiful city!

Laari Forestry Study Trail

The 3-km-long circular forestry study trail, starting at Laari campfire site, is suitable for a peaceful walk for holidaymakers at the campfire site, nature lovers, and hikers with pets.The trail is very diverse - it runs along the paths and trails of the bright pine forest, the mysterious pine forest, and the eye-catching birch forest, over the Lambiniidu and a ditch, over which wooden bridges have been built.The trail is marked with signs and red dots on trees, the information boards on the trail introduce the surrounding nature and the different ways of forest management.

Alaveski Animal Park

Alaveski Animal Park offers an opportunity for observing animals in their natural environment. The fauna of the animal park is very diverse; there are 90 different animals and 28 pheasants living in the Alaveski farm. Here you can meet two bear cubs, Mõmsik and Harry as well as squirrels, foxes, deer and wild boars who were the first inhabitants in the park. In cooperation with our partners you can go canoeing, roast game on the grill or hunt for pheasants during the hunting season.

Cantervilla Castle (Pikajärve manor)

Pikajärve manor, which is also known as the Cantervilla Castle, is probably one of the cosiest manors in Estonia. The main building (built in 1908) and the vivid quarry stone outbuildings are on a landscape filled with beautiful dome-shaped hillocks, high up on the shore of a lake. The walls of the halls of the eye-catching main building are decorated with landscape paintings and portraits, antique furniture and the light from the chandeliers add festivity and romance. The manor is private property at the moment and operates as an establishment for holding different events and offers accommodation.

Estonian Agricultural Museum

The museum is located at the historical Ülenurme Manor and introduces the development of the Estonian agriculture and rural life.In addition to exhibitions, museum visitors can participate in museum classes meant for children and adults, participate in master classes or cooking workshops, enjoy the nice surroundings and meet farm animals. The museum ponies take children for a ride. There are several traditional, but also innovative family events at the museum.It is possible to rent the museum's rooms and territory for events.

Murrumetsa Hiking Trail

Murrumetsa Hiking Trail starts from the Pühajärve Manor Park and runs through Murrumetsa forest back to the park. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to pass the 3.5 km track. There are information boards next to the track that give information about the flora and fauna of our forests and cultivated landscapes. The track passes the ancient Pühajärv War Oak (circumference 6.98 m and height 22 m) and the commemorative stone to mark the Pühajärv War of 1841, which can be found among the oaks of Murrumets Forest. There are also rest areas and fire sites by the trail.
