Hikers with tents or caravan cars can also find everything they need with us. You have an ourdoor kitchen with a fridge, a cooker, tables and benches, barbecue equipment, and campfire sites at your disposal.We have all the necessary equipment for organising camps for larger youth groups. Extra low prices are offered by our hostel all year around. You can go on canoe trips, organise bonfire and sauna nights, and go to the pubs to sing and drink.

The museum is located in a functionalist house built in the 20th century, where the author's personal belongings, furniture, manuscripts, and work desk have been preserved. Mõniste Manor was first mentioned in 1542. The last owners of the manor were the von Wulff family, but the manor was destroyed in the Estonian War of Independence. The 14.6 ha park at Mõniste was founded in 1840 and is one of the oldest in Võru County. The Mõniste Reservoir plays an important role in the design of the park. The site of the former Manor House is now a large meadow. Spruce, oak, linden, silver birch and larch are indigenous to the park. Some of the more rare species include common spindle, Manchurian walnut and Douglas fir. A sculpture depicting bears is located near the park on the Võru-Valga highway - a reminder of the highway decorations that were in fashion during the Soviet occupation.

The best-known caves - Sõjatare, Uku, and Väike-Sõjatare - are located in the landscape reserve of the Võhandu River Valley. The caves are situated in sandstone crevices that the springs have caused. The largest of them, Sõjatare, has fallen in and is now a gulch. Two caves have been preserved: Uku (with springs) and Väike-Sõjatare. Uku Cave is located next to the fallen in Sõjatare Cave. Väike-Sõjatare Cave is located 30 m downstream from Uku Cave.According to legend, the mother of the devil used to knit in the cave.Sõjatare, however, is said to be an ancient sanctuary. Behind it, there is a tunnel with an iron door, where two devils come out once a year.

A smoke sauna is a true 'back to nature' experience, from its stone hearth to the birch twigs you cleanse your skin with. There is no smoke in the sauna while you're in it, as by then it has already heated up. Warm and cool water is provided as in the olden days - there is no shower or toilet in the building. You can run down and jump into the pond in just a couple of minutes. The farm's renovated smoke sauna building is a log structure around 100 years old. It has the sauna itself plus an entrance way and two party and recreation rooms which seat up to 30 people. There is also a fireplace. The space is ideal for parties, weddings and other events. You can bring your own food or have the farmer's wife cater for you.
