At the Ülejõe promenade everyone can enjoy greenery at the heart of the city. At the promenade meandering along the bank of the River Emajõgi you will come across colourful flora and fauna. From the observation platforms and swing benches one can enjoy a view overlooking the River Emajõgi where fishermen and sea gulls catch fish and ships and paddle boarders pass by.The promenade starts from the Turusild Bridge and ends at the Lodjakoda and the City Swimming Pool (ca 2.5 km in length).The area from the Turusild Bridge towards the Anne Canal is a starting point for an exciting Soviet era district consisting of five- and nine-storey buildings – Annelinn, which is also called a bedroom suburb as it is the most populated settlement area in Tartu.

August Teppo was a famous accordionist of Võru County. Today, his home farm has been turned into a museum. Visitors can see his workshop, as well as learn about the lifestyle typical of the era. In addition to the exhibition, the museum also organises trainings and cultural events.Good to know: the museum is only open to visitors upon booking during the summer months.

The Tõrva Health Trail winds through the scenic park forest surrounding Lake Vanamõisa, following paths through old-growth trees and lakeside woods. It connects Tõrva Gymnasium, the beach area of Lake Vanamõisa, and the gymnasium’s stadium complex. In 2017, it was recognized as the best health sports facility in Estonia. The main hiking loop is 11.1 km long. In winter, the park offers illuminated ski tracks of various lengths. Together with the Tõrva stadium, Tõrva Veemõnula water and sauna centre, outdoor gym, low ropes course, and disc golf track, the trail forms a well-rounded sports complex.

Enjoy a real SUP-boarding experience in the magical Taevaskoja and the ancient Ahja River valley, which is known for its unique natural landforms. The trip passes nearly 20 sandstone outcrops along the way. It is suitable for anyone with a sporty spirit; previous experience is not important. The instructor will thoroughly show you how to handle a SUP board skillfully, hand out the equipment, and introduce paddleboard techniques and safety requirements. Terminal Oil Annikoru Disc Golf Park has 18 courses of different lengths, which are suitable for both skilled players as well as beginners. The 2.0 km long winding course is located in a picturesque pine forest.Disc rental is not available on site. Discs can be rented from Nõo Sports Hall on the basis of the price list or from the Tartu Festival Arena information desk based on the price list by presenting an identity document. Discs can be rented at the Tartu Festival Arena from Monday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The discs must be returned to the information desk no later than 8 p.m. on the same day.Terminal Oil Annikoru disc golf park powered by DiscSport is CLOSED during the winter period.

The water tower of Raadi Manor dates back to the 19th century. In ancient times, the tower housed the manor clock, which let the manor workers know it was time for lunch. After World War II, the building was used by the Soviet army and was restored in 2002.Inside the water tower is an exhibition of the Estonian National Museum. Visiting the photo exhibition Raadi Through the Ages, which runs along the floors of the water tower, offers not only historical knowledge but also enchanting views of the cosy Raadi Manor Park.The exhibition is open by reservation and a visit to the water tower can be ordered together with the guided tour of the Estonian National Museum 'Raadi Manor Park Tour'.
