Sadama Recreation Area is a great place in Setomaa, on the shore of Värska Bay. The beautiful location allows guests to visit nearby forests to pick mushrooms and berries and take a refreshing swim in the lake on hot summer days.There are four cabins in the recreation area, which accommodate a total of 15 people. All guests can also use a shower. There is a sandbox, swings, and a slide for your children. We also have a ball court and boat rental.In addition to cabins, there is a large camping site, barbeque equipment, and a shelter.Come and relax!
Lake Vaskna is 244 meters above sea level, which is why it can also be called a 'mountain lake'. According to legend, the gold of the Swedes from the times of the Northern War has been buried in Vaskna. It is said that a marked stone indicates the location of the gold.There is a campfire site next to the lake, offering a wonderful view of the local dome landscape. There is also a camping site and a swimming spot. Up to ten four-person tents can be put up at the camping site. There are benches, a table, a shelter, a cabin for changing clothes, and a barbeque spot.
The campsites and camping area of the Tartu County Health and Sports Centre offer an idyllic holiday among Elva's beautiful pine forests. Our cozy 4-person cabins, 6-person cottages, and spacious camping area are perfect for families, friends, hikers, or for organizing camps. Public showers and toilets are located in the main building, where you can also enjoy breakfast with a reservation. There is a barbecue area for relaxation, and for active recreation, there is archery, shooting ranges, disc golf, hiking trails, and fat bike rental. The camping site has places for 50 caravans. The total area of our caravan site is 2500 m². Every vehicle has access to one power outlet. For our guests there is also a service house with showers, toilets, sinks, washing machine and a stove. We have fresh water supply and toilet emptying options. Reception is open from 8 a.m until 9 p.m. If needed, you may use our telephone and internet. The whole camping site has WiFi. We will organize dinner parties with cultural program if you book it in advance. On request we will take you on a trip to South-Estonia with a guide.
Sääniku Farm Holiday Centre is located on the edge of Kavilda Valley, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is 25 km from Tartu and 13 km from Elva.The Holiday Centre is a perfect place for a family vacation, weddings, trainings, camps, and for simply enjoying the nature. Here, you can enjoy a smoke- and a Finnish sauna. The complex includes a swing, a health trail, a barbeque house, a ball court, and a children's playground, outdoor kitchen. It is possible to organise events in the party hall with catering. We can accommodate 16 people and it is possible to order breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pikasilla recreation area, located in Põdrala rural municipality by the southern tip of Lake Võrtsjärv, is easily accessible and has a strategically good location by a waterway (at the mouth of the River Emajõgi). The place has become well-known as a venue of sports competitions and various public events. The area has different sports facilities, a children's playground, cabins and a campfire site; it also has washing and cooking facilities.The services of the recreation area include:- renting the recreation area- renting canoes, kayaks and boats- boat harbour and mooring spots- renting a stadium building and a building with washing and cooking facilities- caravan parking- camping ground for about 100 people- cabins for rent
On the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, you will find the Kiviranna recreation centre and its two holiday homes – TORM (STORM) and TUUL (WIND). Each house can accommodate up to six people. There is a bedroom with four single beds (extra beds can also be provided) on the first floor of both houses. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two. The houses have a kitchenette and the necessary kitchenware. The living room has a TV and a stereo system, and a small library for younger and older guests alike. We recommend asking for an IGLOO SAUNA.
If you are exploring the Onion Route in a campervan or caravan, you can spend the night at Peipsi Caravan camping. The recreation area, which has been transformed into a natural park and is located in an old farmyard, has ten caravan sites with electricity. There is also enough space for campers with tents. You can take domestic water from a well.In winter period (from October until March) you can rent the whole holiday home, which accommodates 6 people. In addition you can relax in the authentic smoke sauna. Sauna heating by prior arrangement.Lake Peipus and the Nina beacon light are only a ten-minute walk away from the recreation area.
