The production of Rüüp wine is located in the village of Ihamaru, Ala Juusa farm in Põlva. We make craft wines mainly from our grown berries and apples. We started growing wines in 2022. We kindly show our activities to visitors: let's talk about how vines grow in Estonia and how grapes become wine, tasting different drinks, introducing a production space that we affectionately call a sip kitchen among ourselves. We also offer accommodation in a holiday home with a sauna and hot tub.

The pub's name is inspired by the work of artist Erki Evestus, whose paintings of Estonian women adorn the interior and create a special atmosphere. Hullava Naise Pub can accommodate up to 70 people, making it an excellent spot for both weekday lunches and evening gatherings with friends. The menu features daily specials and soups, along with a wide selection of dishes made with high-quality, delicious ingredients. The food is authentic and home-cooked, highlighting simplicity and honest flavor. In addition to everyday dining, the pub offers party and event tables, making Hullava Naise Pub a suitable venue for celebrating special occasions and more intimate gatherings. People are becoming more and more interested in the trees of Estonia and tree tourism is becoming more and more popular.In terms of breadth, the Mäe-Lõhtsuu or Lõhtsu-Reinu oak tree is the second biggest in Estonia. It grows to the west of Urvaste church, next to the Mäe-Lõhtsuu mill on a steep incline close to the ruins of Lõhtsu Farm. Its girth is 7.03 metres and height 28 metres. People say that the tree is almost 300 years old, although researchers reckon it must be older (at least 400).Good to know: years ago, when the area around the tree was still covered in scrub, the hollow trunk of the tree was home to a bear enjoying its winter slumber.

At the Barge Center Theme Park, you can observe how a historical 24-meter-long two-masted Emajõe-Peipsi barge is built. You can also craft model barges, learn sailor skills, visit the forge, try old-time barge-related tasks, and explore the history of barge shipping. In the cinema area, you can watch films about barges and slide shows. We offer guided tours and workshops for groups upon prior reservation.Lodjakoja is a historical ship-building center, museum, theme park, and conference and exhibition venue. Viking and barge journeys begin here, and we have our own café and harbor. Explore an educational trail that introduces shipbuilding and forge work. Try out the sailing simulator that takes you on the water, and the test pool lets you try out your homemade model barge. Small visitors will be delighted by the play ship, sandbox-boat, and block corner, while older ones can puzzle over 3D puzzles. Everyone will enjoy the rope-pulling machine and old-time sports games. The Kekkonen hiking track can be used all year round – in summer for hiking, jogging and cycling and in winter for skiing. The track was named after former Finnish president Urho Kaleva Kekkonen, who visited Kääriku. The 15 km track starts from Kääriku stadium and passes through several spots of natural beauty, including Harimägi Hill – one of the highest points in the Otepää Highlands (211.3 m above sea level). Its viewing tower, which stands 26 metres high, is right next to the hiking track. Those with more energy can follow the additional 5 km loop on Harimägi Hill.

This neo-Gothic church with its tall and slender tower is an integral part of the beautiful landscape of Vooremaa. The church has a spacious and stylish Historicist interior. The church is thought to have been built in 1770 and was reconstructed in 1889. A monument to the pastor and renowned linguist Otto Wilhelm Masing can be found in the Church Manor (1989).

Hotel Aleksandri awaits you on Aleksandri tänav in the heart of Tartu, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. We offer rooms of different sizes and price classes on three floors.
