Turusild Bridge

The monument to Oskar Luts was erected in 1987. The authors of the monument were A. Rimm and A. Murdmaa.Oskar Luts (1887–1953) was an Estonian writer. His best known and loved novel is Kevade (Spring), a lyrical and humorous tale based on school memories. He has also written plays, children’s stories, memoirs, and feuilletons. The writer's house museum is located at 38 Riia Street in Tartu. There, he lived for the last 17 years of his life. Oskar Luts was buried in the St Paul’s Cemetery in Tartu.

In August 2020, five team houses were added to the Kääriku Sports Centre. The team houses are for athletes, athletic families, and groups of friends.Each building can accommodate 12 guests who can use the house with a sauna, a lounge, and six separate bedrooms. The houses are located next to the new ball games hall, on a slope. The houses are close to trails, Kekkose ski track, and the ball games hall.

Canoe trip "One Day, Two Countries" starts at the upper course of the River Õhne in the vicinity of Taagepera and Holdre castle and ends on Latvian soil.The river flows along a course that is interrupted by rapids and is partly surrounded by forests and fields. When combining several 3–7 km stretches of river, it becomes a 30 km canoe trip that lasts from an hour to an entire day and complements a summer holiday, birthday or company summer retreat perfectly.Come on a canoe trip along the River Õhne – you find a lot to admire and discover here!

The smoke sauna is an ancient temple of purity and health, where both body and soul are cleansed, while the plastic sauna offers a quick and fun steam experience at the edge of the forest. The smoke sauna on the shore of the pond has been carefully constructed from massive aspen logs. The stove is made from manor-era bricks, and a half-ton of field stones provides the heat. The ceiling is insulated with one and a half tons of Mooste lightweight clay mixture. The plastic sauna is located at the edge of the forest, heats up quickly, and provides an authentic, old-school sauna experience with the right amount of water in a bowl — just pour it over yourself with a ladle! From the heat of the sauan, you can dash straight into the cool pond. Come and enjoy two distinct sauna experiences — the calming power of the smoke sauna and the playful freedom of the plastic sauna!

Experience the picturesque winter of Southern Estonia. We will go on a hike with sled dogs across the domes and frozen lakes of Haanjamaa, through snowy forests and spacious fields.We organise both day trips and shorter trips. Our guests can also try to steer the sled themselves. Children and adults, as well as larger and smaller groups are welcome.Come enjoy moments of peace!

Ülenurme Tourist Farm is a lovely, affordable little place in Misso municipality in Võru County. On the farm you can soak up the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city or simply spend the night here. If you need to stay longer because of work in this corner of Estonia, let us know.In addition to the usual Finnish sauna there is also a smoke sauna by a little pond in the yard. You can spend your leisure time actively, riding a bike around the south-east of Estonia or hiking to Lakes Hino, Pullijärv, Kisejärv and others.
