The outlying buildings and grounds of the fairytale Cantervilla Castle are home to a theme park and playland reflecting the manor period. There is plenty of fun to be had by the whole family - for the whole day! You can see how people got around back in the day, what clothes they wore, what they ate and how they used to eat it (table manners being very important!). There are lots of attractions in the playland - a water park, various vehicles, a climbing frame, trampolines, a labyrinth, a costume room and much more. Catering is available at the cafe in the playland stable, but you can bring a picnic if you like.

Lake Peipus Living Room is a permanent exhibition that gives visitors information about the natural conditions in Lake Peipus and the lives of people living by the lake. You can see models of the 34 species of fish that inhabit Lake Peipus. There is also a three-dimensional model of the lake that is 4 m long and 1.4 m wide and also shows the location of the towns and villages, accommodation establishments, museums, watchtowers and other places of interest near the lake.The Mustvee beach by Lake Peipus is marked with a yellow National Geographic window; it is one of the 21 places worth discovering in Southern Estonia. If you are interested in nature, it is definitely worth a visit.

Let's make delicious kama truffles together! Kama is often considered one of Estonia's national dishes. In the workshop, we roast kama flour, mix it with creamy filling and flavorful additions, and shape it into delightful balls. Then we decorate the kama truffles. Each participant can prepare 6 to 8 truffles to take home. A pleasant and flavorful experience for every participant! We recommend adding a guided tour or a walk in our yard at the Mulgi Experience Center. In the exhibition house, visitors are greeted with interactive solutions that introduce the culture and history of Mulgimaa in an engaging way. After the workshop, you can meet the center's friendly animals, visit the linen barn, and discover how linen fabric was made in the past. The Mulgi Experience Center opens the door to the essence of the Mulgi people and Mulgi cultural heritage. It is an ideal place to spend a pleasant time with friends or colleagues. Põltsamaa Museum is located within the walls of the ancient Põltsamaa Ordensburg. We offer an unforgettable experience with a haunted dinner at Alatskivi Castle. Travel back in time to 140 years ago when the Nolcken family lived in the manor, and there was no electricity or modern technology. During the evening, the lady of the manor will move through the dark rooms of the castle, telling stories of bygone times and ghostly legends, because the castle is truly haunted! The experience includes a guided tour of the castle and a 3-course period-themed dinner, accompanied by a welcome drink. It is possible to order additional drinks with the courses. The minimum number of people is 10. Come and enjoy the historical atmosphere, delicious food, and mystical stories!

What does life really look like in the Old Believers' villages by Lake Peipus? This question is answered by Mesi Tare's host, Marko, who takes guests on a walking tour through the historic village of Varnja. This is not a regular excursion but a personal, direct experience in which the village, its people, and their stories unfold through the eyes of a local resident. Marko has been connected to Peipsiveere all his life, and his stories are based on real experiences. He has worked as a border guard, been a fisherman and boat captain, and today he operates as a tourism entrepreneur. During the tour, Marko discusses the customs, architecture, and lifestyle of the Old Believers, as well as the importance of Lake Peipus for the local community. Walking tours are arranged by prior reservation and tailored to visitors' interests and schedules. In addition to Varnja village, you can explore Kolkja village and Kallaste town, each with its own character and story. If desired, the tour can be combined with a visit to the Varnja Samovar House.
