On the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, you will find the Kiviranna recreation centre and its two holiday homes – TORM (STORM) and TUUL (WIND). Each house can accommodate up to six people. There is a bedroom with four single beds (extra beds can also be provided) on the first floor of both houses. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two. The houses have a kitchenette and the necessary kitchenware. The living room has a TV and a stereo system, and a small library for younger and older guests alike. We recommend asking for an IGLOO SAUNA.
Mulgi Experience Centre is located in the former Sooglemäe farm complex in Mulgimaa. It is a Mulgi landmark and bears the identity of the Mulgi people. It is an architectural attraction, a museum, a center for organizing events, an information center, and a sales point for local products and services. The Museum of Tuglas is the childhood home of Friedebert Tuglas, born on 2 March 1886. Tuglas became a well-known writer for his novel Väike Illimar (Little Illimar) written in 1932. The story of the little Illimar is at the same time the story of a manor in Estonia. Places related to Friedebert Tuglas and the Little Illimar are displayed on a large map, which is also exhibited in the museum. Spatial exposition provides background information for the guests who visit the places related to the novel and learn about the everyday life of the manor house.
Karula cycling trail offers you the opportunity to go for a ride in beautiful nature. The 50 km track runs over the hilly landscape of Karula and covers several exciting forest paths. The start of the trail is at the foot of Tellingumäe at the Cycling Trail campfire site (Rattaradade lõkkekoht) and the trail partially overlaps the Taheva cycling trail. The trail also passes the Oore camping area, where there are forest huts for hikers. There is room for 40 tents.
The study trail is well-suited for getting acquainted with the development and vegetation of bogs and for observing pine cultures. A 1.8 km long circular study trail revolves around the Valgesoo bog. On the she study trail you can explore the bog vegetation, old pine plantation ("Baron's pine forest"), and a forest edge rich of Scottish wood ants. The whole trail is accessible by a wheelchair or stroller. To facilitate movement on the track, there is a track map and colour markings on the trees. There is an observation tower and a campfire site at the start of the study trail.Valgesoo bog is one of the 21 places worth discovering in Southern Estonia, which is suggested to be visited for those who are interested in nature.

The new monument to Villem Reiman (1861-1917) was opened in 2004 and its author is Mati Varik.Villem Reiman was a pastor and a cultural persona who fought for the independence of the Estonian people as a figurehead of the Estonian national movement.
