Kuremaa Castle and Park

Kuremaa Manor is a special place where classical columns, grand façades, and harmonious proportions blend beautifully in its architecture. It is an excellent venue for conferences, client and team events, as well as weddings and celebrations. The neoclassical manor house was designed by E.J. Strauss and built between 1837 and 1843 by the von Oettingen family.The manor’s museum room introduces the history of the estate.The diverse manor park slopes gently down to Lake Kuremaa, enchanting visitors with its beach and leisure opportunities.Within walking distance are the Kuremaa Mill, Kuremaa Beach, Kuremaa Swimming Pool and Mini-Spa, and the Kuremaa Health Trails.

RMK Voorepalu Põrgurada trail

The hiking trail, which is suitable for a pleasant walk, starts on the other side of the road opposite the Voorepalu campfire site and runs along an extremely varied landscape with several steep ascents and descents. The trail has information boards introducing past events and folklore and the highest point of the trail has a table and benches for resting. Rope railings have been installed on the steep slopes of the trail.The historical Postal Road runs between the campfire site and the hiking trail. Ristimänd tree and many other exciting places are on the trail with a varied landscape. Two cars can park at the campfire site.

Puurmani Manor

The magnificent Neo-Renaissance style manor with a white main building was built during the time of G. J. Mannteuffel in 1860. In 1918, Julius Kuperjanov established a partisan battalion in Puurmani castle.At present, the castle houses the Puurmani Upper Secondary School.You can visit Puurmani castle and learn about its history in the course of the Forgotten Manors program during the visiting days in the summer. You can also order a tour of the manor house, manor park and the entire Jõgeva County. In the manor, we will look around different floors where you can see the countess's boudoir, a secret door leading to the tower, as well as the count's study and treasury. You can also order a night tour and catering.

Käbliku Holiday Houses

Käbliku Farm is a distinctive seminar and holiday complex in Põlva County, in the heart of South Estonia. Estonian War of Independence cemetery and monument at Võru cemetery

Those who fought and were killed in the Estonian War of Independence are buried here. The War of Independence started in November 1918 when Soviet Russia invaded the Republic of Estonia and ended on 2 February 1920 with the signing of the Tartu Peace Treaty. The monument was destroyed during the Soviet occupation. In 1987 the society Vaba Sõltumatu Noorte Kolonn Nr 1 (Free Independent Youth Fleet No. 1) started to clean up the graves of those who were killed in the War of Independence and the monument was reopened on 23 June 1988. In 2002 the city government of Võru started to renovate the burial ground. The monument erected by the Youth Fleet was torn down, but the slab and cross made by the fleet were used on the new monument.

Kiidjärve Water Mill

Kiidjärve Water Mill was built in 1914 and it used to be one of the largest and most powerful mills in Estonia. The saw mill on the other side of the Ahja River, which was destroyed in a fire in 1962, formed a complex with the flour mill.The mill was a part of the historic Kiidjärve Manor, historically written as Kiddijerw. The mill operated until 1979. From 1987 to 1988, a new dam was built for the mill, and the mill was restarted in 1991. The mill was once again halted in the middle of the 1990s.Good to know: The mill is in private ownership and can be viewed from the outside only.
