Põltsamaa Adventure Park

Põltsamaa Adventure Park is located in WPark, a summer mecca that offers active holidays, adventure, and fun water sports. Our adventure park is built on 9-metre-high pillars, which makes it one of the most unique adventure parks in Estonia. Climbing is done floor by floor, and each new level brings more excitement and challenges. There are 60 platforms in total and at the end there's a 130 m long zipline to the small island on Lake Kamari. One of the advantages when coming with friends, family or colleagues is that you can stay together and support each other while climbing. Different seasons and weather don't affect the adventure park. Come at any time and in any weather, we are waiting for you!

Kütimäe cemetery

The Kütimäe cemetery was founded in 1872 by the owners of Rutikvere Manor, the Pistohlkorses. As the German cemetery in Põltsamaa lacked enough space, the landlords had to establish a private cemetery. To build it, the farmers had to make an artificial mound in Kütimäe. According to legend, this hill was built for two years and the soil was transported by horses. In 1873, a cemetery wall, a three-part gate, and a neo-Gothic chapel were also built. The chapel is decorated with the arms of the Pistohlkorses. The exact number of people buried in the cemetery is unknown. The cemetery is still operating today and is maintained by the Põltsamaa Municipality.

Estonian Flag Room

Otepää is like the cradle of the blue, black and white flag of Estonia – the current national flag of Estonia was consecrated and blessed here on 4 June 1884. First of all, the flag was used by Estonian students, then it became the national flag of Estonia and when the Republic of Estonia was created, the colours blue, black and white were declared the national colours. The concept of the museum came from Pastor of the Otepää Maarja (St Mary’s) Congregation of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church Jüri Stepanov (02.03.1952-17.06.2008), who was also in charge of its establishment. The Estonian Flag Room was opened in the Otepää Rectory on 23 December 1996 to illustrate the story of the black, blue and white flag that is so important for Estonians.

Loodustaju birdwatching in Southeast Estonia

Although West Estonia is known to most of people as a place to observe migratory birds in the spring, then Southeast Estonia is almost as fascinating. At Lämmijärv and its surrounding region it is possible to encounter various migratory waterfowls and local eagles. In addition, we also have virgin forests with rivers and wetlands, where one can observe different species of owls, woodpeckers, hazel grouses and forest birds such as crossbills, northern goshawks, river kingfishers, etc. You can encounter a moose or hear the howling of a wolf. I offer tours for both beginners (binoculars and a fieldscope are included in the price) and experienced observers - from 3 hours to several days, including accommodation. More information can be found from website.

Suur Munamägi observation tower

Suur Munamägi is the highest peak in the Baltics, rising 318 meters above sea level. The 29.1-meter-tall observation tower at the top of the hill was completed in 1939 and offers breathtaking views up to 50 kilometers away in clear weather. From here, the true essence of Estonia’s landscape unfolds—vast forests stretching into the distance, shimmering lakes, rolling hills, and the scattered farmsteads of Old Võromaa. The views from the tower are different every time—spring brings soft green tones, summer a lush abundance of color, autumn radiant foliage, and winter paints the landscape with a fairytale-like white. This is why Suur Munamägi remains a unique destination throughout the year. Suur Munamägi has been a beloved attraction for over two centuries—the first observation tower was built here in 1812. The current tower is the sixth in its history; previous wooden or lower towers were gradually destroyed or dismantled. For this reason, the present tower is a historical gem of its own kind, combining both cultural and natural value.
