Kiidjärve Nature Centre is located in Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area on the banks of the picturesque Ahja River in Kiidjärve village. It seeks to guide visitors, young and old alike, to the beautiful scenery of the area so that the forest and nature itself will reveal their secrets to a keen observer. The nature centre has information materials and information about Kiidjärve-Kooraste, other RMK recreation areas, and other various attractions. In the immediate vicinity are famous celestial Taevaskoda sandstone outcrops, Kiidjärve Formica kingdom, and the picturesque Valgesoo bog.
With scenic beauty and rich history, the Käre Battlefields offer pastime and a delight to the eye.Historically, the Käre farm has been a war zone, and the forest hides numerous bunkers, trenches and military artefacts. The place, at its most authentic, takes us back to the battlefields of 1944.The aim of the club, which is based at the Käre Battlefields, is to preserve and exhibit old equipment and antiuqes. The historical heritage is combined with modern leisure activities such as guided walks near trenches and bunkers or safaris in the countryside.

If you want to relax on the Onion Route by Lake Peipsi, then Mesi Tare is the right place! We offer a special Instagrammable boat tour starting from Mesi Tare in Varnja, where we divide the group into small boats. The guide is the owner of Mesi Tare, who will captain one of the boats himself. In other boats, you can be the boat captain! We will explore Old Believer villages, sail along the shore, and moor in various small canals to visit places on the shore, including Voronja Gallery, Lendav Laev home restaurant, the Samovar House, Peipsimaa Heritage Center, and other places. The central part of the exhibition is a drawing of the Alatskivi Manor estate grounds, which explains the management and living environment of the entire complex. You will learn what role purebred dog breeding played in the manor, how forestry was managed, how much income Alatskivi Manor earned, and where the money came from to build the fairytale castle. The play corner with a beautiful replica of the castle and dolls will delight the youngest visitors. The horse stable is perfect for organizing concerts and events!
