The park is the city's historical representative square on the eastern shore of the Räpina artificial lake.What makes the park unique is the fact that two obelisks dedicated to the fallen soldiers stand side by side there. The new design of the park highlights the monument erected for the soldiers who fought in the Estonian War of Independence, and next to it, behind the thujas, is a memorial to the soldiers of the Soviet Army.The park is popular because it is located on the shores of the Räpina artificial lake. In addition, there are a lot of different species and an impressive poplar boulevard that leads to the city's public swimming area.

Astri Arena is the largest and most modern indoor ice rink in Southern Estonia, and the only ice rink open all year round in the entire region. It is located in Tartu Lõunakeskus and offers sports and entertainment for visitors of all ages. You can skate at Astri Arena in any weather. In addition to regular skating, Astri Arena hosts fun ice discos, great family events, sports competitions, and training sessions. It is also a great place to organize memorable birthday parties and school or team events. Visitors can rent skates, helmets, and assistive skate frames, which make the first steps on the ice safe even for small children. A full-size ice rink right in a shopping center is a rare — there are only a few similar indoor ice rinks. Rent your SUP board and enjoy the ride on the River Ahja, Emajõgi või nearby rivers and lakes. From our location, you can conveniently take the SUP board to Taevaskoda, nearby Lake Ahijärve as well as Võngjärve. Taevaskoda is just 20 minutes away from the rental spot, Ahijärv is 5 km and Võngjärv 10 km. You can use the SUP board also in the city of Tartu!The rental price includes safety equipment. Two sets are available. Price starting from 30 € / 24 h.Additional services on the River Ahja: speedboat, boat and floating sauna rental, wakeboarding and tubing.

Sangaste Castle is one of the Southern Estonian places worth discovering that are marked with a yellow window. If you are interested in culture and history, it is definitely worth a visit. Sangaste castle and park were fashioned after the famous Windsor castle in England. The magnificent halls, architecture and history of the castle make this a good place for a big wedding, get-togethers or spending the night in a genuine castle. The castle restaurant serves local food and real rye vodka made from Sangaste rye. In addition to the castle, the stables, dairy, barn, water tower and arboretum are also open for visitors.
