Pühajärve-Kääriku Ski Track

The 10 km Pühajärve-Kääriku ski track is suitable for skiers and hikers who want to enjoy the magic of winter. It starts either by the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort or at Kääriku Sport Centre. The 2.5 km Sihva-Kääriku section is lit until 9 pm. The track has a simple relief and is well-suited for amateur skiers. In Kääriku, you can continue your skiing hike on the Kääriku ski tracks of different lengths. You can hire skis in Otepää ski rentals.Come and enjoy the magical landscape of Otepää!

Kuningamäe ski trails

The best ski trails in Central Estonia are waiting for you in Kuningamäe, Põltsamaa! There is a 1.5 km illuminated trail, which has become very popular among skiers. The track is illuminated until 9 p.m.There is a choice of trails of different lengths: 1.5, 2.6, and 5.7 km. If the weather is good, there are both classic and skate skiing trails. The trails have both natural and artificial snow. We provide high-quality and consistent trail maintenance.During the snow-free season, the Kuningamäe Health Trail is a favourite among runners, walkers, and cyclists. The Kuningamäe Disc Golf Park is also located here!

Kääriku recreational trails

In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails - the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. Tõrva health trails

The Tõrva Health Trail winds through the scenic park forest surrounding Lake Vanamõisa, following paths through old-growth trees and lakeside woods. It connects Tõrva Gymnasium, the beach area of Lake Vanamõisa, and the gymnasium’s stadium complex. In 2017, it was recognized as the best health sports facility in Estonia. The main hiking loop is 11.1 km long. In winter, the park offers illuminated ski tracks of various lengths. Together with the Tõrva stadium, Tõrva Veemõnula water and sauna centre, outdoor gym, low ropes course, and disc golf track, the trail forms a well-rounded sports complex.

Kuremaa skiing tracks

To keep both your mind and your body in the best possible shape, come and spend a refreshing day on the Kuremaa skiing tracks. There is a track to suit everyone, from beginners to seasoned skiers, in stunning surroundings. We are located between picturesque passes and a suitable trail can be found for both beginners and experienced skiers, walkers or runners.The trails run in nature, up and down the mountains.Be sure to choose footwear according to the weather, because the grass becomes slippery and muddy in places when it rains. 2.56 km. trail is lit Mon-Sun until 9:00 PM You can relax after your exertions in the Kuremaa sauna and pool.

Tehvandi Sports Center

At the Tehvandi Sports Center, you can meet top athletes from Estonia and around the world, either on training tracks or in competitions all year round. In addition to professional athletes, Tehvandi Sports Center increasingly targets recreational athletes, businesses, and people who want active, athletic holidays or are just looking to relax. We offer a variety of sports opportunities in beautiful outdoor settings, as well as leisure facilities, accommodation, and catering. Come play disc golf, work out at an outdoor gym, or walk the health trails. There are also several international sports competitions to participate in!

Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort

The popular Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort, or Munakas, which slopes offer enjoyment for athletes and challenges and possibility to improve one's skills for beginners. Eight slopes, all with various length and descent ensure excitement and security at the same time. There are two hills with T-bar lifts and a hill for children as well. The longest slope is 630 metres. In addition to sporting possibilities there is equipment rental, ski service, restaurant Munaka Resto and various events. Munaka hill tickets are valid on Kuutsemägi hill as well.In summer you can enjoy nature views while riding the chairlift, hurry down the hill on a bike or rent an E-bike. You are welcome to enjoy winter delights!

Haanja Recreation and Sports Centre

The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00. Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.

Tartu Marathon Ski Track

The 63 km track of the Tartu Ski Marathon starts from the stadium of Tehvandi Sport Centre in Otepää and runs to Elva through Väike Munamägi, Matu, Harimägi, Kuutsemägi and Palu. The 31 km track starts by the Arula crossroads. The official finish of the track is in the Tartu County Recreational Sport Centre in Elva. The track section between Tehvandi and Kääriku can be used from the second week of February until the end of the winter season.Interesting facts: * the wooden sculptures of the biggest open air theme park in Estonia, Maajumalate Park, are near the track.
