The sauna house of Jõesuu Tourist Farm on the shore of Lake Võrtsjärv offers privacy and wonderful natural views. The house can accommodate up to 10 people, featuring a large terrace, a pond, and a steam room, making it an ideal retreat for family, friends, and pets alike. Simply spend a peaceful weekend at the sauna house or host a small event, and fill your time with different activities for all ages. There are boat docks available for guests, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Võrtsjärv and the Emajõgi River, as well as various water activities. Visit by car or by waterway. The stable is one of the buildings of the Sangaste Manor which has been renovated into a visitor centre and today houses the exhibition Rukkikrahv ja Ilmaimed (The Rye Count and Wonders of the World).The exhibits at the centre tell the story of the scientific wonders of the 19th century and Count Berg, the owner of Sangaste Castle. It will take the visitors back in time for a hundred years and more. Visitors can also try out exercise devices and other equipment from that time. Children can have fun in the hall of technical wonders as well as at the ‘grandmother’s place’. Come discover and marvel!

Kalevipoeg's Home has an enormous sledding hill where you can go sledding every winter. But now there is also a separate track for tubes. We have the best snow tubes in the world, straight from Canada. We have 10 of them and we rent them out by the hour. We don't have a ski lift but you can walk back up the hill from the side of the track. A little physical exercise and then you can go down the hill again. Suitable from the age of 4.After tubing, you can visit the Kalevipoeg Museum, the playground or, if you have any energy left, go ice skating. Come with friends or family, we guarantee a great day of adventure.

The Rõuge primeval valley, which is 10km long and 52m deep, contains seven lakes: Kahrila Lake, Tõugjärv, Ratasjärv, Kaussjärv, Rõuge Suurjärv, Liinjärv, and Valgjärv. The lakes are connected by the Rõuge or Ajo River, which starts from the Tindi valley. The side valleys of the Rõuge primeval valley are Tindi, Külm, Mõhk, Ööbikuorg, Tinopeetri, Hinni, Sikasoo, and Järveotsa valleys. The most famous of these is Ööbikuorg, which borders the ancient hillfort from the north. In spring, during the blossoming of bird cherry trees, the valley resonates with the song of nightingales – hence the name of the valley. Several hiking trails run through Rõuge, including the popular Ööbikuorg hiking trail, which takes visitors through the primeval valley, past lakes and springs. The trail is suitable for families with children and is partially accessible by bicycle. In summer, you can swim and paddle in the lakes, while in winter, the same trails are enjoyed by skiers and sledders. In the Rõuge settlement, there is also Estonia's deepest lake – Rõuge Suurjärv (38m) – and the largest Nature Clock in Estonia, whose hands mark the passage of time in nature's rhythm.Good to know: At the edge of Ööbikuorg, there is a visitor center and the Pesapuu observation tower, which offers a view of the entire valley.
