Ponyland welcomes both children and adults!We introduce children and adults to the life of ponies and horses. We can take your child on a 2.5 km-long pony ride in our domed landscape. The museum introduces the life led by farmers in the 18th century and the everyday lives and work of our forefathers. There are five oak sculptures created by St Petersburg artist Grigori Azarenkov by the museum. The museum is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, which make it a popular venue for folk parties and theatre performances.
The hike will last up to three hours. We will ice skate along the channels that are covered with smooth ice. We will also skate over/around flooded meadows, stop at beaver dams and otter burrows, explore animal tracks on the snow, and admire Lake Peipus as well. In the middle of the hike, we will take a short break to drink tea and have a bite to eat. If it is allowed to go on Lake Peipus at the time of the hike, we will skate back along the shore of Lake Peipus. The hike is for adults!Participants will receive the hiking skates (attached to your boots), poles, and ice awls. NB! Bring your ID-card.

The Hilara is a riverboat with a dignified and active history, which was built in 1975 to offer pleasant experiences for people both in summer and in winter. The passenger ship that was originally sailing in Finland has been used on Lake Peipus and Emajõgi River during the past decades.The boat can accommodate up to 36 passengers, so there is plenty of space in the two passenger cabins and on the bow and sun deck so that everyone could feel truly comfortable.During the trip, you can enjoy the beautiful views on Tartu from the river and listen to the fun stories about life on the river and onboard told by captains Gaute Kivistik and Olaf Suuder.

We start by meeting in the car park of the Sangaste castle by the yellow window of NG, and will continue from there by bus.The first part of the hike takes us through the Valli quaking swamp on bogshoes. From there, we are going to move closer to the forest park, take a look at the rare species of trees in the dendrological park and enjoy the views across the Juudaoru valley.There will be a picnic at a mystical campfire site.The hike ends in the castle park where you will learn about the history of the manor and rye up to the formation of the cooperation network of Rukkiküla. We will also test the famous echo effect of the castle.
