The Estonian Aviation Museum near Tartu is an exciting destination for aviation enthusiasts and families! Here you can see rare planes and helicopters from various countries, including the USA, England, and France. The indoor and outdoor areas display anti-aircraft weapons and an aviation collection consisting of over 500 models, which provides a valuable overview of the history of aviation. It is also possible to peek inside the planes. In addition to the exhibition, the museum offers plenty of experiences, including a 20-meter catapult, various flight simulators, and trampolines. The Aviation Museum can host lectures and company and family events.

We are located in the middle of Võrumaa's forests in the Haanja-Karula recreation area at the intersection of RMK hiking trails. We welcome all nature lovers and families with children.Here, you can find forest bandstands, the legendary Paganamaa, and several sights of South Estonia: Suur Munamägi Hill, Karula National Park, the southern tip of Estonia, Rõuge Ööbikuorg Valley, Koiva-Mustjõe pines, and Luhasoo landscape protection area. Several RMK hiking trails pass through Pähni.You can also camp, go to the sauna, and make a campfire on the premises of Pähni guesthouse. You can order a guided tour from us (including in the Võru language). Interesting activities are offered by the nearby RMK Pähni Visitor Centre.

There are different attractions for children and young people aged 2–16 in the park.The selection of the attractions was done on the basis that they should offer a lot of activities which are rich in fantasy, demand physical dexterity, and develop physical abilities. The selected toys and constructions are of durable materials and have a modern design.There is a basketball court with two backboards, and two learning tracks for cycling. Additionally, there are some picnic tables and benches so that parents are comfortable while waiting for their children, or they can even organise a picnic.

Ronimistehas is the first independent climbing hall in Southern Estonia.Beginners and advanced climbing enthusiasts are welcome to climb at the Ronimistehas alone or with a larger group. We also organise weekly training courses, various workshops, children's birthdays, and other events.The ticket can only be purchased from the Ronimistehas online store and there are no on-site ticket sales. You can climb for as long as you want, the price of the sauna is also included.Premium card holders can climb 24/7.

Alaveski Animal Park offers an opportunity for observing animals in their natural environment. The fauna of the animal park is very diverse; there are 90 different animals and 28 pheasants living in the Alaveski farm. Here you can meet two bear cubs, Mõmsik and Harry as well as squirrels, foxes, deer and wild boars who were the first inhabitants in the park. In cooperation with our partners you can go canoeing, roast game on the grill or hunt for pheasants during the hunting season.

Jõesuu Tourist Farm campsites are located in a beautiful natural setting right on the shore of Lake Võrtsjärv and are ideal for families, small groups of up to six people, and pets. The cozy cabins offer simple yet comfortable accommodation in the heart of nature, where you can enjoy peace, lake views, and a pleasant holiday. Guests have access to a separate shared kitchen equipped with necessary supplies and laundry facilities, located just a short walk from the camping cabins. The permanent exhibition Earth. Life. Story. includes nearly 8,000 scientific exhibit items, which tell the development story of planet Earth from the beginning of the universe until the modern day. At the exhibition, you can explore the traces of life from millions of years ago, admire shiny minerals, watch the so-called night airport of butterflies, or track the movement of the placoderm fish from the Devonian era. You can look the first jackal caught in Estonia in the eye and experience the human body through the eyes of a reptile. Visitors will be glad to see the favourites of several generations: the elk, bison, and giraffe. We also have live animals, such as the Python Regius, a turtle, a green iguana, and many other small exotic animals. See you at the Natural History Museum!
