Estonian National Museum

We are a meadery, and each drink tells a story of curiosity and creativity; each sip is a tribute to the nature and flavors of our homeland. And, of course, to the invaluable contribution of bees because without them, there would be no mead. Nöösker is Estonia's first modern meadery. We break tradition, combining the wisdom of beer and wine masters in a new way. At the heart of our meads are Estonian honey, berries, fruits, and more exotic spices. Come and discover this restless animal — Nöösker. Bring your companions for a visit (by reservation!), and we will introduce you to the world of mead for an hour and a half.

Let's make delicious kama truffles together! Kama is often considered one of Estonia's national dishes. In the workshop, we roast kama flour, mix it with creamy filling and flavorful additions, and shape it into delightful balls. Then we decorate the kama truffles. Each participant can prepare 6 to 8 truffles to take home. A pleasant and flavorful experience for every participant! We recommend adding a guided tour or a walk in our yard at the Mulgi Experience Center. In the exhibition house, visitors are greeted with interactive solutions that introduce the culture and history of Mulgimaa in an engaging way. After the workshop, you can meet the center's friendly animals, visit the linen barn, and discover how linen fabric was made in the past. The Mulgi Experience Center opens the door to the essence of the Mulgi people and Mulgi cultural heritage. It is an ideal place to spend a pleasant time with friends or colleagues. The Saatse Museum's main building was originally a residential building, then a school building, and now it's a museum. What makes Saatse Museum special are the texts painted on the wall and the opportunity to watch old film clips about the history and religion of Setomaa. The former classroom on the upper floor is set up in the style of the Soviet era. The museum has a spacious outdoor area and a small stage, so it's a nice place to have a picnic. A small hiking trail runs along the border and starts and ends at the museum — it can be walked even when the museum is closed.

Anderson Brewery in Tartu is a recognized craft beer producer whose flavorful, distinctive beers have garnered significant attention from locals and visitors alike. The Pilgrim House introduces visitors to everything related to medieval pilgrims and pilgrimages. Here you can get acquainted with various medieval holy places and pilgrimage destinations. One of them, the most famous in Northern Europe, was located right here in the Holy Cross Chapel of the Vastseliina Bishopric! Thanks to the interactive exhibit, visitors can experience firsthand what a medieval pilgrim felt, what he feared, and what he loved. You can play medieval board games, and with prior arrangements, we offer various experience packages, including period and themed meals prepared in the Pilgrim House oven to fill your stomach!

Participants of the primary course for making craft wine at Murimäe Farm will learn how to make wine from different ingredients and use the necessary instruments and additives (yeasts, fermentation stoppers, clarifiers). We will also talk about bottling and the legitimation of craft wines (Murimäe Winery is a recognised wine producer). We will taste wines from five different Estonian ingredients (sea buckthorn, black chokeberry, cherry, rhubarb, gooseberry).The visit also includes a tour of the vineyard and the winery, where we will introduce the activities of the Murimäe Winery and Nordic viticulture.

Meenikunno Bog is one of the most beautiful bogs in South Estonia. It has a diverse fauna and birdlife, picturesque open lakes and numerous bog islands! Guided bogshoe hikes offer a wealth of new and exciting knowledge about the formation of bogs, their unique nature, flora, and fauna. The hike includes the service of a guide, snowshoes, walking sticks, and hot tea in cold weather. At the end of the hike, you can order a luxurious forest restaurant meal or a simple, refreshing picnic lunch. When visiting the War Museum, you can get acquainted with military and armored vehicles, tanks, a Forest Brothers bunker, see the largest weapon collection in Estonia, and more. You can test your shooting skills on a shooting simulator. For groups, we offer guided tours, fun rides in various military vehicles, role-playing games with laser weapons, or flight simulations in an MI-8 helicopter, upon reservation. Our seminar hall can host various events, and we offer various military-themed packages.
