A. Le Coq gift shop

A. Le Coq is Estonia’s oldest beer producer and largest beverage producer dedicated to preserving and promoting Estonia’s beer and beverage culture.
The A. Le Coq Museum has an extension with a gift shop, which makes visiting the museum more convenient and enjoyable than before.
As an added experience to the museum visit, the gift shop allows visitors to familiarize themselves with the wide range of A. Le Coq products made by local masters. Choose a souvenir from nearly 200 different products related to Tartu and beer history.

Avinurme Woodworking Centre

Avinurme Woodworking Centre is a tourism centre which is home to local craftsmen. It offers the widest selection of woodwork products in Estonia, including dozens of sauna and household items. You can even put your own skills to the test! The centre organises a variety of workshops, from basket-weaving and felting to bread-making, candle-making, painting and more. The cosy coffee shop offers home-made cakes and pastries, fresh bread and other treats. Arranged in advance, it can provide catering for groups of up to 80 people.

Katre Arula`s Handicraft Workshop

Katre Arula`s Handicraft Workshop, where you will find crafter Katre Arula, is located in the courtyard of Põltsamaa Castle. In the workshop's store, you will find high-quality unique original creations and genuine Estonian handicraft items picked personally by Katre. The selection includes: clothes, bags, scarves, belts, gloves, jewellery, candles, ceramics, household textiles and small sweet knick-knacks.Groups can book an introduction of Katre's creation and work. She will demonstrate the items and explain their origin. She also makes custom-made items according to the client's specification.It is possible to book workshops.

University of Tartu Museum, Toompood shop

The Toompood is located on the first floor of the University of Tartu Museum. The museum shop sells books about Toomemäe and Tartu Cathedral, the University of Tartu today and in the past, and scientific achievements, in addition to souvenirs, jewelry, and much more. Design and science enthusiasts can find lovely souvenirs in the museum shop as keepsakes for themselves or gifts for loved ones. The selection includes jewelry created by local designers, toys, and souvenirs with a message suitable for culture enthusiasts. For those with a sweet tooth, we offer handmade chocolate and honey. There are souvenirs in every price range, and many of the products are Estonian.

Avatud Ateljee Art Studio

The Art Studio sells great Estonian oil paintings and graphic art, high-class leather and wood goods and high temperature ceramics by Aivar Rumvolt. Please do not hesitate to call on us, if you need a special gift for your guest. The Avatud Ateljee Studio organises different courses: you are welcome to sign up for pottery, calligraphy, binding or leatherwork classes. In addition the studio organises poetry reading nights and meetings with artists. Groups can also visit Aivar Rumvolt’s pottery shop in Kubja by previous appointment. In summer there are workshops both for grown-ups and the young.

Craft store Roosiait

We offer wonderful handicraft products for children and adults, as well as products for home decoration, and interesting antiquities.In 2020, we opened a café – we offer fair trade and eco-labelled products: chocolates (a large selection for vegans as well), tea, and coffee.Roosiait was named after grandmother Rosalie Ait, who was called Roosi (Rose). She was an outstanding woman who had 11 children and survived Siberia. We wanted to commemorate her and this is why we named the store after her.
