The old, dignified Kadrina Manor in South Estonia offers guests rooms for two to four people, a small suite, a luxurious sauna and relaxation center, the Short Men's Tavern, and a conference hall. A little away from the manor, near the river, four campsites await guests, one of which can accommodate four people, and a toilet and shower in a separate camping house. There is also a camp kitchen in a separate house where you can prepare a good breakfast and coffee. In warmer weather, you can camp, and there are places for camper vans. You can feel touched by the divine when walking on the beach or swimming in Lake Pühajärv.Namely, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso (born 1935), the leader of the Tibetan people, visited Estonia and Otepää on 3 October, 1991. He blessed Lake Pühajärv on the same day. The historical visit is commemorated with a wooden sculpture near the beach in Pühajärv Park.

The Nohipalo study trail is an interesting and educational hiking trail. There are 16 information boards on the three-kilometre trail, which give a good overview of hunting and forestry.The diversity of the nature makes the trail exciting – boreo-nemoral forests, eskers, and heath forests, where blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms can be picked depending on the season.On the study trail, you can admire the magnificent badger area and explore the traces of beavers. If you are lucky, you might even see an animal there.The Nohipalo study trail starts and ends at the Ilumetsa forest house.

Every autumn, the Tartu Bike Marathon brings thousands of sports enthusiasts to Southern Estonia, but completing the marathon distance requires practice. The 86 km long track of the Tartu Bike Marathon starts from the stadium of the Tehvandi Sports Center in Otepää and ends in Elva at the Tartumaa Health Sports Center. The track is technically undemanding and largely follows the famous Tartu Marathon route. Signage with kilometer markings is available for movement in both directions. The Tartu Rattamaraton track is designed for both hiking and athletic training. The track primarily runs on forest roads and smaller gravel roads and is suitable for a range of bicycles. The diverse landscape of the Otepää Nature Park and countless lakes offer not only physical exertion but also visual beauty and mental refreshment, and why not take a stretching break at the Harimäe observation tower?
