Peipsimaa County Heritage Center

Peipsimaa County Heritage Center, located at the heart of the Lake Peipus Area, is a museum, which offers an overview of the whole Russian Old Believers area through handicrafts and various activities.At the visitor centre the Sinilnik workshop awaits you, where the fabric printing traditions of the Old Believers are introduced. You can participate in various workshops. In the Lubok yard, lubok, the popular print of the Old Believers is introduced. You can participate in lubok themed workshops as well. You can also visit: Ridaküla smithy, Chicory Museum, Peipsimaa handicraft and art shop, Peipsimaa Gallery and Aunt Šura Cafe.We rent bikes, scooters, and kicksleds. There are a playhouse and a sandbox for children.

RMK forest study trail at Pähni Nature Centre

The 2.8 km Pähni forest trail starts and ends at the Pähni Nature Centre.The trail starts with an information board with introductory text, later on you have to follow the signs.There are 15 points of interest on the trail with information on different types of forests, species of trees and evidence of cultural heritage and animal activity. There is also a fire pit and shelters (4) where you can relax and take a break. The trail is partially covered with a wooden boardwalk (200 m).

Suhka Tourist Farm

You will find Suhka Tourist Farm in between the hills and slopes of Haanjamaa. There is a large nest built by storks in the farmyard, where you have a good possibility to observe the activities of the birds. The host family of Suhka is friendly and kind and the meals prepared by the hostess are really delicious. Upon a request, the host family will take you to the upper course of the Piusa River; in winter it is possible to ride a sleigh and in addition to the Finnish sauna you can also enjoy the delights of a smoke sauna.

Tehvandi Disc Golf Park

Tehvandi Disc Golf Park is located in Otepää, on the hilly grounds of the Tehvandi Sports Center. It consists of a driving range and 18 baskets of different lengths. The disc golf park's winter, half-length 9-basket course starts and ends at the Tehvandi Hotel and runs around the historic Otepää Hill Fort. Discs can be rented from the Tehvandi Hotel front desk, which also has a map of the course that you can take with you. Fresh air and nature await — disc golf is a good way to spend time with family and friends. Come and see for yourself!

Kuremaa Experience Centre Swimming Pool and mini-SPA

Kuremaa Swimming Pool and mini-SPA is open seasonally and there are three swimming pools: a 25-metre with four lanes, a children’s pool, and a pool with different attractions in the SPA.In addition to swimming, you can go to a Finnish, family, and private sauna (in the pool section) or a salt, Finnish, and steam sauna (in the SPA).There is also a solarium, a beauty and massage salon, a gym, indoor court for ball games, a cafe, and a seminar room. Accommodation is available in the building next to us.

A permaculture community garden Emajõe Aed

Emajõe Aed, located by the River Emajõgi, is a public permaculture community garden. Permaculture is a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way of cultivating land, and the aim of the Emajõe Aed is to introduce permaculture and urban gardening to townspeople, enrich the diversity of urban nature, and enliven the urban space.We grow food together in the garden, following the principles of permaculture, and those who wish can become community gardeners. All visitors can explore the garden on their own, and we can also organise excursions in the garden for those who are interested.During the gardening season, public workshops, campfire evenings, and other events take place regularly in the garden.
