Café Newton, located in the center of Tartu at the AHHAA Science Center, is a pleasant place for both lunch and leisure. Our menu offers a refreshing, varied selection of daily specials and classic dishes. The selection includes soups, various steaks, and vegetarian dishes. Every day, a fresh cake selection is displayed at the counter, delighting every sweet tooth. A separate menu is provided for children, tailored to our young guests, along with a children's play area offering plenty of activities for longer periods. Café Newton offers catering for training sessions, seminars, birthdays, and other events at AHHAA. It is also convenient to organize a company Christmas party, a birthday party, or a family lunch here. Café Newton's menu is flexible and caters to all tastes. During the summer, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Tartu from our spacious terrace. No AHHAA ticket is required to visit Café Newton, and entry is free for everyone. Acrylic pouring or stencil art portrait workshop – the best way to combine art and entertainment!At the Paintbar studio in the Aparaaditehas Creative City, visitors will receive an introduction to art, the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, and explore the world of UV, spray, and acrylic paints. How many flowers does a bee visit during a foraging flight? Your questions will be answered at the unique Mesi Tare honey workshop on the Onion Route. We will taste honey and learn how to distinguish between fake honey and real honey! We will discuss how each of us can help protect bees and what threats they face. We will also drink a nice cup of tea, as is the custom of the Old Believers, and explore the impressive samovar collection at the Samovar House. Come and have a treat with your friends and family!

Coop Hotel is located on the main street of Jõgeva, in the city centre, in a house with a dignified history.It all started almost 100 years ago in 1919, when the Jõgeva Economic Union was formed – the goal was to open a main store in the town.Coop Hotel opened its doors in September 2021, continuing the long history of the house.The hotel has rooms for every taste. You can choose between single and double rooms. One room has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility.In addition, guests staying with us can go to the sauna in the basement of the hotel.
Sõmerpalu in Võru County is home to Europe's biggest stationary indoor motorcross hall, the Adrenalin Arena, which provides reasonably priced and comfortable year-round training and competition facilities for professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts alike. We are constantly organising motocross-themed and other special events; our spacious stands are a perfect place for watch the events.You can book motocross trainings, rent bikes and visit the motocross museum of MTÜ Sõmerpalu Motoklubi; there, the trophies, pictures and bikes that were used to win the trophies by sportsmen trained by Sõmerpalu Motoklubi, including the ones of the brothers Leok (racing drivers), are on display.
The Helme-Tõrva Apostolic Orthodox Church of the Birth of Christ was built in Valga Street in the years 1903 to 1904. Karl Shurin was in charge of the building work. The two domes and bell tower made the church one of the most imposing churches in the Viljandi Apostolic Orthodox Deanery. The church was seriously damaged during the fierce battles fought in September 1944 and it was only restored in 1990 as a chamber hall.Interesting facts: * the church was also used for salt and cement storage during the Soviet times; * the church-chamber hall currently belongs to the Lutheran church.
