The trails have two possible starting points: in the parking lot of the Värska Sanatoorium or in the point on the side of Värska Sanatoorium across Värska Bay. The Pikalombi nature trails are 3.8 and 9.1 km long. The nature trails can be passed in autumn, spring and winter and on foot as well as by bicycle. On the boarded trail through the Velna bog the bicycle shall be pushed by hand. Good to know: There are 11 trail points along the trail. Point no. 6 lies by beautiful Lake Saarepää, offering an opportunity to make a fire and to have a longer break.

At our barbecue shelter, you can smoke and grill food, or enjoy a warm evening by the fire in the fireplace.We offer accommodation for 12 people; however, upon agreement, the house can accommodate up to 18 people as well.
There is a small village chapel near the Estonian-Russian border, which the locals call a tsässon. According to dendrologists, the building was built in 1784. During the Second World War, the chapel was hit with a missile, which shifted the building away from its foundation. The missile can now be seen in the chapel.In 2007, the chapel was repaired and with the permission of the owner, you can also go into the chapel. The chapel holds several icons, decorated with beautiful handmade white-and-red kerchiefs.The saint of the chapel is Saint Anastasia, which is why the village celebrates Nahtsipäev on 11 November.

From early spring until late autumn, a canoe and kayak trip on Võhandu River is an exiting way to have fun and gain new experiences.As an alternative to familiar canoes, we also offer river kayaks. These kayaks are stable, fast, comfortable and safe. A kayak can be easily steered by foot pedals and the paddlers are protected from rain and spray by the deck and the spray skirt of the kayak. Therefore, the weather will not get in the way of your adventure. The KGB Cells Museum, known as the "Grey House", is a historical museum in Tartu, where the NKVD/KGB was located in the 1940s and 1950s. The basement of the building, where the cells were located, is open to visitors. Several cells, the punishment cells, and the basement corridor have been restored to their historical form. The prison cells are filled with an exhibition that provides an overview of Estonia's post-war struggle for freedom and the crimes of the communist regime. Here you can see photographs and objects from Siberian prison camps, as well as materials on the history of the Forest Brotherhood and secret resistance organizations.
