And, of course, to the invaluable contribution of bees because without them, there would be no mead. Nöösker is Estonia's first modern meadery. We break tradition, combining the wisdom of beer and wine masters in a new way. At the heart of our meads are Estonian honey, berries, fruits, and more exotic spices. Come and discover this restless animal — Nöösker. Bring your companions for a visit (by reservation!), and we will introduce you to the world of mead for an hour and a half.

Restaurant Oberpahlen Wine & Food is located in the heart of Põltsamaa's tourist magnet – Põltsamaa Castle! It is a place where you can try the best of Estonian wine culture in a pleasant atmosphere. La Storia is the newest restaurant in Põlva. We opened our doors in December 2018. We offer delicious Italian dishes, wonderful interior, and excellent service. Italian ice cream can be enjoyed on our sunny summer terrace. Our pizzas are highly appreciated by our customers, and the seafood soup is also a favourite among visitors. The à la carte restaurant of Pesa Hotel is perfect for relaxing and having a business lunch. The 55-seat hall is perfect for corporate events and birthdays. Groups can also choose a more private room (up to 20 people). In summer, the sun terrace is open. You can also order snacks to the mini spa Sõstar of Pesa hotel.We prefer to use local Vana-Võromaa raw ingredients in our dishes. At our small but authentic Kolkja Fish and Onion Restaurant, we offer genuine Old Believer dishes from the Peipsi region, prepared with freshly caught lake fish and locally grown, world-famous Peipsi onions. The dishes are based on traditional recipes passed down through generations, reflecting the unique culinary culture of the Peipsi lakeshore area. The menu features smoked fish, richly flavored fish soup, hearty onion soup, juicy fish patties, and a variety of desserts, including traditional Old Believer pies. The culinary experience is crowned with a traditional samovar tea, which is best enjoyed slowly in good company. The restaurant is located on the Onion Route (Sibulatee), and our cozy setting is perfect for families, friends, and travel groups alike. For groups, we offer the opportunity to arrange storytelling by the restaurant’s hostess about local life and Old Believer customs, as well as readings from old books, making the visit unique and memorable.

Veski Pub in Antsla is a great place to have a meal in north-western Võru County. The cosy pub offers delicious dishes, and there is a different daily menu from Monday to Friday. You can buy our home-baked bread or make use of our courtyard to barbecue or for the kids to enjoy themselves in the playground. Catering is available for groups, and the pub can be hired as a venue for parties, family events and other occasions.
