Cafe Johanna dates back to 2016 when we took part in the Home Cafes Day. The positive feedback from the visitors made the host so happy that they decided to offer taste experiences more than once a year.Cafe Johanna offers a variety of flavours: morning coffee with delicious pastry, with a selection of the best rolled biscuit in town, wind pockets and eclairs, and of course, Pavlova cakes. The Kodavere Heritage Center in Tartu County breathes new life into the historical Pala Town Hall, which has been the heart of the local community for years. The center showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Peipsi region and is a place where old stories, languages, and traditions are revitalized. Visitors can gain a comprehensive overview of the history of Kodavere parish municipalities and town halls, and view the intriguing photo exhibition "People of Kodavere Parish in Oskar Tõrva's Glass Negatives," which reveals the everyday and festive life of rural areas a century ago. Additionally, they can admire the handicraft exhibition "Kodavere Kupuliud," highlighting the skills of local craftsmen and folk aesthetics. A separate display is dedicated to the Kodavere dialect, an essential part of the region's identity. The center also features a memorial room for poet Anna Haava and an exhibit "Song Festivals in Pala 100 Years Ago." Guided tours and heritage culture workshops are offered by reservation, suitable for both school groups and adults.

The Aura Centre sauna centre has saunas, pleasant baths, and cooling options for every taste. The sauna centre also has a cozy relaxation area and an outdoor terrace with an igloo sauna and two jacuzzis, one of which is refreshingly cold and the other pleasantly warm. There are 8 different saunas in the sauna centre – steam saunas with different temperatures, a juniper sauna, a salt rock sauna, an aroma sauna, a steam aroma sauna, a sanarium, and an igloo sauna. There are 11 different saunas in total. You can cool off in the crisp winter room or by using the facilities offered by the ice machine, cold water bucket, or cool bath. In addition to cooling off in a cool bath, you can relax in warm jacuzzis and a 40-degree Japanese bath. With a ticket to the sauna centre, you can also visit the Aura Keskus water park, where you can find slides and many other water attractions, as well as a desert, tropical, and rain room. In the unique rain room in Estonia, you can choose exactly the kind of rain you like – be it a gentle forest rain or a tropical storm. Come and enjoy great relaxation in the center of Tartu!

Alaveski Animal Park offers an opportunity for observing animals in their natural environment. The fauna of the animal park is very diverse; there are 90 different animals and 28 pheasants living in the Alaveski farm. Here you can meet two bear cubs, Mõmsik and Harry as well as squirrels, foxes, deer and wild boars who were the first inhabitants in the park. In cooperation with our partners you can go canoeing, roast game on the grill or hunt for pheasants during the hunting season.

The central square of Elva is closely connected to Lake Arbi, the nature trail that winds around it, the beach, and the beachside recreation area. The central square of Elva and the beach promenade are the heart of the town – green, peaceful places where the lakeside hustle and the natural atmosphere create a true summer or winter vibe. Nearby are Leopold Hansen Alley, several cafés and restaurants, and the historic Elva station building, which also houses the region's tourism and visitor center.

Tartu Toy Museum, situated in the Old Town of Tartu, takes adults back to the brighter days of their childhood and offers children plenty of interesting things to see and do.The permanent exhibition displays toys that Estonian children have played with throughout the years. Artist-made dolls, souvenir dolls of different nations, and Finno-Ugric traditional toys are also exhibited. Playrooms and workshops are also open. You can see puppets from Estonian puppet films and temporary exhibitions in the outbuilding. The museum also has a theatre building named ’Teatri kodu’ (The Home of Theatre) with a theatre hall, a museum of puppets, and a children’s studio.
