Basic wine training at Vilde ja Vine

In the historic Deer Garden wine cellar, next to the Alatskivi Castle wall, a small family business, Alatskivi Manor Flavors, operates, producing handcrafted wines from local raw materials. The wines are made from products sourced from Estonian nature, such as rhubarb, wild berries, apples, and grapes, giving each drink a unique local character. In addition to buying wine, it is possible to participate in a tasting that introduces wines through a playful guessing game, in which participants try to identify the ingredients of the wines. The hostess also provides guests with a brief overview of the wine-making process and, if desired, introduces the historic Deer Garden wine cellar and its connection to the former manor in more detail. This is a cozy, personal experience that showcases local raw materials, craftsmanship, and the area's history.

Come and dine at Väimela Bistro!There are 100 seats in the hall. Guests can rent the cosily decorated hall and order a party table together with a pleasant service or just rooms for a seminar. The two halls seat up to 150. We provide catering services for up to 400 people. Guests can also order breakfast or dinner. There's free WiFi and a bathroom for the disabled in the Bistro.You can also order delicatessens and pastry.

At the Värska WaterPark, Cafe Näki offers a chance to enjoy a light meal or simply relax with a cup of hot coffee. The cafe serves invigorating coffee paired with freshly baked pastries, and during lunchtime, guests can enjoy daily specials prepared by the chefs of Lahe Resto.The cafe also provides the option to order platters of snacks for parties and children's birthdays. With seating for 20 people, Cafe Näki warmly welcomes all visitors to the Värska resort area to enjoy a light refreshment. The water park also features a swim-up bar, where guests can savor delicious cocktails and refreshing drinks without leaving the pool.

The tavern, which was built in true Hanseatic style, offers Estonian cuisine. In addition to different meat dishes, a large selection of different fish (eel, perch, flounder, herring, and pikeperch) is also offered. The menu also includes Estonian forest products such as chanterelles and cowberries. For dessert, you can enjoy our nostalgic snowball soup and sour milk pancakes.Here, you can host receptions, lunches, and dinners for groups.During summers, you can have a good time and enjoy delicious meals in the Hansa Hoov courtyard which has a fountain; various concerts and theatre productions are staged here.

Come and discover the authentic village life of Peipsi through the everyday tasks of the local people!Depending on the season, we offer the following activities:- in early spring, we will focus on fishing and drying fish;- in late spring, we will cut brushwood, burn branches, and enjoy the fire;- in the summer, we will pick willow-herb and make traditional tea with the hostess;- in the autumn, we will build a mobile sauna from scratch.The price also includes saunas, local food and people, and accommodation for two nights. La Storia is the newest restaurant in Põlva. We opened our doors in December 2018. We offer delicious Italian dishes, wonderful interior, and excellent service.
