The dishes from Lake Peipus are diverse. The locals’ passion for their fields gives us berries, tomatoes and cucumbers in summer, and the famous Peipus onions are ready for harvest in autumn. The forest and the Emajõe-Suursoo nature park offer us mushrooms and berries, but also nourish our soul. Lake Peipus, the fifth -largest lake in Europe, has 37 different species of fish. The area by Lake Peipus is colourful and just as colourful is the menu of Kivi Tavern and gallery in Alatskivi. Mostly local, of course!
