The outlying buildings and grounds of the fairytale Cantervilla Castle are home to a theme park and playland reflecting the manor period. There is plenty of fun to be had by the whole family - for the whole day! You can see how people got around back in the day, what clothes they wore, what they ate and how they used to eat it (table manners being very important!). There are lots of attractions in the playland - a water park, various vehicles, a climbing frame, trampolines, a labyrinth, a costume room and much more. Catering is available at the cafe in the playland stable, but you can bring a picnic if you like.

The concrete frames of the pedestrian tunnels were pushed through the embankment of the railway dam – such a complex tunnelling technology was used for the first time in Estonia when renovating the intersection. The monument to the most renowned Estonian symphonist of all times Eduard Tubin stands on the slope by the Vanemuine Theatre (authors A Vahtrapuu, V Valk, sound installations created by Louis Dandrel). Come and see how the well-known Estonian conductor and composer conducts an imaginary orchestra and listen to sound installations of the works of Eduard Tubin.

The monument to Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald (1803-1882), founder of the Estonian national literature, was built in 1952. The authors of the monument were sculptors Johannes Hirv and Martin Saks, and architects Heiki Karro, Ants Mellik, and Mart Port.

The carfts and souvenir counter of Räpina Creative Centre sells the creation of local masters: a wide selection of ceramics, stained glass, greeting cards, albums and notebooks, candles, textile items, jewellery and many other interesting items. Otten's Mill Bridge is known as the setting for the feature film The Last Relic. This is where Siim blocks the path of his chasers on the bridge and one of the chasers' horses falls into the river.The mill bridge, which also worked as a mill dam, was built by Jaan Otten, the owner of the mill, in 1916, following the example of the Tartu Stone Bridge. The water channel with a bridge built of quarrystone has only partially survived. The dam of the watermill is built of quarrystone and it has two large concrete arches that could be closed with gates.Otten's Mill Bridge is the border of the Ahja River Primeval Valley Nature Protection Area. The bridge is also entered in the state register of cultural monuments.

Raadi Manor, which stands on the border of the city of Tartu, had its glory days in the first half of the 19th century with its magnificent art gallery and library and salon evenings. The manor then belonged to the von Liphart family.The main building of the manor was destroyed by the bombing in 1944. The manor park, together with the ruins of the main building and the gate, are included in the list of national cultural monuments.The area forms a distinctive complex: there is the magnificent manor complex, as well as a woodshed, a water tower, an ice cellar, and a restored wall. In the centre of the complex, there is the natural Raadi lake and the restored manor park.
