Ala-Rõuge Guesthouse provides affordable accommodation in the heart of Rõuge. The former mill building of the local manor, it dates back to 1885. In the intervening years it served many purposes, but was fully restored as a guesthouse in 1998. It is spacious and the hosts are very welcoming.Just a stone's throw from the guesthouse is Estonia's deepest lake, known as Rõuge Suurjärv, which is perfect for swimming in summer. There are also hiking trails in the surrounding forests. Winter pastimes such as skiing and skating provide fun for all the family. And when the weather is inclement, you can always stay indoors and make the most of the guesthouse's board games.

In the leather studio workshop, you can make a personalised keychain under the guidance of the leather designer Tiina Andron. Different metal studs, leathers, rivets, and key rings are used. The workshop is suitable for everyone (from school age). Acrylic pouring or stencil art portrait workshop – the best way to combine art and entertainment!At the Paintbar studio in the Aparaaditehas Creative City, visitors will receive an introduction to art, the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, and explore the world of UV, spray, and acrylic paints. The carfts and souvenir counter of Räpina Creative Centre sells the creation of local masters: a wide selection of ceramics, stained glass, greeting cards, albums and notebooks, candles, textile items, jewellery and many other interesting items. We also accept custom orders. If you would like to craft something yourself, then groups can participate in various workshops that need to be booked in advance.
