It is a peaceful winter experience, using illuminated kicksleds to travel along snowy forest trails. The kicksled trip lasts approximately 2.5 hours, is suitable for beginners, and takes place at a gentle pace with breaks. This is a great choice if you are looking for something special for a family trip, a group of friends, a company outing, or a birthday. The trip can be enriched with a campfire meal at Maitsemaa Metsarestoran. What is an illuminated kicksled? The illuminated kicksled, developed by Matkajuht, features LED lights that shine in four directions and a comfortable seat. It is not an ordinary sled with a bicycle light or headlamp. It has been specially designed for travel in the dark, so that the light shines discreetly, softly, and diffusely, without dazzling.

Cyanotype is the process by which an image is produced to fabric by the combination of chemicals and UV light. The result is an image with white lines on a blue background. Make an exciting gift and produce a photo, drawing, or silhouette of a dried plant on a T-shirt or a cloth bag. Fabrics with a thinner texture which have been washed without conditioner and ironed beforehand are suitable for this. It is also possible to buy a cloth bag on site.If you want to produce a photo, send it to us in digital form no later than one day before the workshop. We will help you with the rest.

The museum introduces the life led by farmers in the 18th century and the everyday lives and work of our forefathers. There are five oak sculptures created by St Petersburg artist Grigori Azarenkov by the museum. The museum is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, which make it a popular venue for folk parties and theatre performances.

A kicksledding trip through Taevaskoja in South Estonia will take you to a true winter wonderland! A hike that combines physical activity, fresh air, and a sense of history!Come alone, bring a friend or all of them, and enjoy a scooter hike in the magnificent atmosphere of Setomaa in the landscapes and villages near Lake Lämmijärv. We will ride along the old lake bed, through pine forests, pass ancient settlements and burial mounds, until we reach a traditional well-preserved Seto residence.The hike starts and ends at the parking lot of the Mäe Nature House of the State Forest Management Centre.
