Kuutsemäe, the most attractive and compact mountain sports centre in Estonia, offers leisure opportunities during all seasons. By today, the centre has proved its sustainability, and since 1991, it has been the only mountain skiing and snowboarding centre in Estonia that operates without interruption. In the summer of 2020, the Otepää Central Square and Flag Square dedicated to the Estonian tricolour got a new look. The Central Square is illustrated by Bruno Kadak's bronze sculpture – the fountain 'Fun Ott'.There is a well-known belief around the world that throwing a coin in a fountain brings happiness, but when coming to the Otepää fountain, you have to scratch the bear's rear paw.The Flag Square has one of the highest flagpoles in Estonia. Next to the Estonian flagstaff are pavilions and information stands telling the story of the flag. The community garden with a children's playground offers leisure opportunities for both adults and children.Come to Otepää!

Alaveski Animal Park offers an opportunity for observing animals in their natural environment. The fauna of the animal park is very diverse; there are 90 different animals and 28 pheasants living in the Alaveski farm. Here you can meet two bear cubs, Mõmsik and Harry as well as squirrels, foxes, deer and wild boars who were the first inhabitants in the park. In cooperation with our partners you can go canoeing, roast game on the grill or hunt for pheasants during the hunting season.

Looking for a family-friendly zoo in South Estonia? Kaasiku Farm Zoo is the perfect place for both small and large animal lovers. Here, you can meet both domestic and exotic animals, including a desert fox, a python, and a parrot. The zoo is home to more than 200 animals from more than 60 species, each with its own unique name and story, which the hosts will gladly share with interested visitors. The zoo offers a cozy environment where you can look at animals, feed them, and pet them. It's the perfect place for a memorable day in the wild with family or friends. Café Newton, located in the center of Tartu at the AHHAA Science Center, is a pleasant place for both lunch and leisure. Our menu offers a refreshing, varied selection of daily specials and classic dishes. The selection includes soups, various steaks, and vegetarian dishes. Every day, a fresh cake selection is displayed at the counter, delighting every sweet tooth. A separate menu is provided for children, tailored to our young guests, along with a children's play area offering plenty of activities for longer periods. Café Newton offers catering for training sessions, seminars, birthdays, and other events at AHHAA. It is also convenient to organize a company Christmas party, a birthday party, or a family lunch here. Café Newton's menu is flexible and caters to all tastes. During the summer, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Tartu from our spacious terrace. No AHHAA ticket is required to visit Café Newton, and entry is free for everyone. AHHAA visitors can visit the café throughout their stay at the center.

Imagine eating your favourite dish without seeing it on the plate. How will it taste like? Come and experience our blind dining to find out. The purpose of blind dining is to emphasise and activate the senses that are usually in the background. The dinner consists of seven or five courses prepared by our head chef and is complemented with delicious wines. The participants will have to guess what they are eating, guided solely by the taste and their intuition. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The dinner starts with refreshments and sparkling wine. The minimum size of the group is eight people. The dinner lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours.
