Edgar's Guesthouse is located in the middle of Otepää, only a step away from everything you need. Tehvandi Sports Centre and Otepää Adventure Park are only at the distance of a 10 minute walk.Edgar's Guesthouse can accommodate 15 people, fitted with a kitchenette, shower/WC and TV in rooms for 2 to 4 people. At the Barge Center Theme Park, you can observe how a historical 24-meter-long two-masted Emajõe-Peipsi barge is built. You can also craft model barges, learn sailor skills, visit the forge, try old-time barge-related tasks, and explore the history of barge shipping. In the cinema area, you can watch films about barges and slide shows. We offer guided tours and workshops for groups upon prior reservation.Lodjakoja is a historical ship-building center, museum, theme park, and conference and exhibition venue. Viking and barge journeys begin here, and we have our own café and harbor. Explore an educational trail that introduces shipbuilding and forge work. Try out the sailing simulator that takes you on the water, and the test pool lets you try out your homemade model barge. Small visitors will be delighted by the play ship, sandbox-boat, and block corner, while older ones can puzzle over 3D puzzles. Everyone will enjoy the rope-pulling machine and old-time sports games. Hämsa Tavern offers traditional Estonian dishes in which local ingredients take pride of place. Catering is available at the tavern for up to 60 people, while a further 120 can make the most of our two outdoor terraces. In the centre of the town, at Jõgeva Music School, where Alo Mattiisen studied, a memorial was unveiled to mark his 45th birthday. Five years later, in 2011, his piano classroom was also completed to celebrate his 50th birthday. It features his fully restored piano and a display of the composer's personal items. The classroom can be used to host small concerts, training sessions, conferences and music lessons.
When walking around the Räpina School of Horticulture, you will find an exciting planting area for perennials, and you can enjoy various summer and perennial flowers in the collection garden. In the collection garden, you can admire 50 different varieties of park roses by Rein Joost, lilies of Mart Heering, about 30 varieties of lilacs by Adolf Vaigla, and 20 varieties of vines by Jaan Kivistik.There are more than 600 different species of trees and shrubs throughout the park and the school (dendrological plant material), with herbaceous plants that include perennials, roses, lianas, natural herbaceous plants, and summer plants – a total of almost 1,200 plants.It is possible to book excursions both in the park and in the collection garden.

Tartu Adventure Park has over 50 different challenges set up to let you climb and swing between heaven and earth. Adventure-lovers can try various challenges set up 4 metres above the ground in the trees. You are guaranteed a thrill on the 300-metre zipline at the end of the course which runs from one side of the valley to the other. We have not forgotten little visitors either – they have their own area with 14 challenges and two long ziplines.During slow seasons, pre-booking is required for enjoying the park (minimum size of the group is 10 people).
