Lake Verijärv nature studies trail

Lake Verijärv nature studies trail is around 1 km long and has 9 information boards showcasing plants, trees, bushes, birds and animals. The trail runs through the Lake Verijärv ancient valley and wood. There are signs along the trail as well as three barbecue areas with benches.There are various legends about Lake Verijärv. It is said that the lake got its name centuries ago when slaves were punished in the old cellar that stood on the shore and their blood turned the water red. Another legend speaks of the nasty lord of Kasaritsa Manor, who was drowned by his coachman with his carriage and horses while driving home one night.

You can catch trout all year round at Tindioru Farm, situated on the slopes of the most beautiful ancient valley in Estonia, Ööbikuorg. RMK Palojärve camping area

Palojärve camping area is a great place for a forest and beach holiday in a beautiful berry and mushroom pine forest on the shore of Lake Palojärv.There are seven covered campfire sites with benches and tree sheds, a roofed table-bench, a toilet for eight people and a toilet for one person, two wood sheds (it is possible to sleep in one of them), two changing cabins, and a swimming pier in Lake Palojärv.In summer, it is often crowded, but the large parking lot can accommodate 30 cars and the two smaller parking lots can accommodate five cars.

Koiva cycling trail

The Koiva cycling trail is located at the territory of the Haanja-Karula holiday area starts at the foot of the Tellingumägi hill at the Cycling trails campfire site. The 20 km track circles around the forests by the Mustjõgi and Koiva Rivers and runs along gravelly forest paths. Along the trail, you can see a sacrificial rock, a sacrificial pine tree, the confluence of rivers, an interesting community of oaks. There are several picnic spots on the track where you can rest and grill some food and there are also 8 spots of interest on the track.

Tartu Bike Park is suitable for both professional athletes and enthusiasts, offering an opportunity to try something new, even for those who do not cycle daily. The diverse tracks and elements allow every visitor to find a suitable pace and difficulty level, making the park accessible and enjoyable for first-timers. The park is located in the green Tähtvere Recreation Park, just a short bike or walk away from Tartu's city center. In close proximity to Tartu Bike Park are Tartu Sports Park, Tähtvere playground, Tartu Song Festival Grounds, and Tähtvere dendropark with a disc golf course.
